Guard for a rotatable wheel of a power tool
A guard for a rotatable wheel of a power tool is disclosed. The guard comprises a shroud which is configured to partially enclose the wheel and a port disposed at a circumferential position on the shroud, via which debris generated by the wheel during use can exit the shroud. The shroud comprises a radii of curvature which increases between a first angular position and a second angular position, relative to a rotational axis of the wheel, in a direction comprising a rotational direction of the wheel.
GRINDER, COVER, AND LOCK NUT
A grinder includes a motor, a housing, a spindle and a cover. The spindle protrudes downward from the housing, is driven by the motor, and thereby rotates. The cover is provided on the spindle in the circumferential direction and at least partially covers a tool accessory, which is mounted on the spindle. The cover is configured such that at least one part deforms and/or is composed of an elastic material.
GRINDER AND COVER
A grinder includes a motor, a housing, a spindle and a cover. The spindle protrudes downward from the housing, is driven by the motor, and thereby rotates. The cover at least partially covers a tool accessory mounted on the spindle. The cover includes a first cover part and a second cover part. The first cover part is fixed to the housing and at least partially covers the tool accessory from above. The second cover part is held such that it is capable of moving relative to the first cover part. The grinder is configured such that the area of the tool accessory covered by the cover changes in accordance with the relative movement.
GRINDER
A grinder includes a motor, a housing that houses the motor, a spindle that projects from the housing and is driven by the motor, and thereby rotates relative to the housing, and a wheel cover that is disposed on an outer-circumference side of the spindle and is configured to cover a portion of a tool accessory attached to the spindle. The grinder also includes a holding device for holding the wheel cover on the housing such that the arrangement and position of the wheel cover around the spindle can be changed but such that the wheel cover is not readily removable from the housing.
GRINDER, COVER AND COVER SET
A grinder (100) includes a motor (12), a housing (4, 6, 30), a spindle (24), a first cover (120), and a second cover (170). The spindle protrudes downward from the housing, is driven by the motor, and thereby rotates. The first cover is provided in the circumferential direction of the spindle, is fixed to the housing, and at least partially covers a tool accessory (40), which is mounted on the spindle, from above. The second cover is detachably mounted on the housing (6) independently of the first cover.
ELECTRIC TOOL
A grinder includes a spindle on which a grindstone wheel is mounted, and a wheel guard covering the grindstone wheel, the grinder including: an attachment portion having a housing portion and provided to a main body rotatably holding the spindle to surround the spindle; a fitting portion being provided to the wheel guard and fitting into the attachment portion; locking pieces disposed to the fitting portion at a different position in a circumferential direction of the spindle; cut-out portions disposed to the attachment portion at a different position in the circumferential direction and allowing the locking pieces to enter the housing portion; and an inner circumferential edge disposed to the attachment portion at a different position from the positions of the cut-out portions in the circumferential direction and being pressed against the locking pieces housed in the housing portion.
Battery-Operated Portable Grinder for Railway Running Rails
A dual-use battery-operated portable grinder is utilized for the railway industry, specifically for grinding the web of railroad rails post-welding. The battery-operated portable grinder can be employed in a hand-held configuration or seamlessly integrated with a quick-connect mechanism onto a specialized frame device, serving as both a support structure for the grinder and a means for reducing worker strain by eliminating the need for bending. The battery-operated portable grinder may include: battery-powered operation, a robust brushless motor, a built-in handle-incorporated base portion for safeguarding the motor from potential damage, a lightweight design, an anti-vibration handle to alleviate operator fatigue and ensure proper balance during usage, a reinforced shaft to enhance operational durability, improved grinding wheel stability to minimize vibration and wear during use, and its versatility in performing rail head and web grinding tasks.
Protective hood device
A protective hood device with at least one protective hood basic body is configured to at least partially cover an insertable tool of a portable power tool. The protective hood device has at least one functional recess, and at least one covering unit which is mounted on the at least one protective hood basic body so as to be movable relative to the at least one protective hood basic body. The at least one covering unit is configured to cover the at least one functional recess of the at least one protective hood basic body in at least one first position. The at least one protective hood device further includes a locking unit which is configured to lock the at least one covering unit in the at least one first position relative to the at least one protective hood basic body.
Protective shroud for a hand-guided power tool and hand-guided power tool with such a protective shroud
The invention refers to a protective shroud (40) for a hand-guided power tool (1), in particular a polisher or sander, the protective shroud (40) being adapted to be attached to a housing (2) of the power tool (1) and to cover at least part of a working element (11) of the power tool (1). It is suggested that the protective shroud (40) is secured to the housing (2) in at least one direction by means of magnetic force (47, 59).
PROTECTIVE ELEMENT FOR AN ELECTRIC POWER TOOL
A protective element, in particular a cover, for the guard of a disk-shaped tool of an electric power tool, in particular an angle grinder. The protective element has a protective element body that is reversibly attached to the guard in an installed position by clamping the guard between attachment elements and a leaf spring of the protective element body. The invention also relates to a manufacturing method for the protective element and an electric power tool having this protective element.
