ABRASIVE ARTICLE HAVING A NON-UNIFORM DISTRIBUTION OF OPENINGS
An abrasive article having a plurality of apertures arranged in a non-uniform distribution pattern, wherein the pattern is spiral or phyllotactic, and in particular those patterns described by the Vogel equation. Also, provided is a back-up pad having a spiral or phyllotactic patterns of air flow paths, such as in the form of open channels. The back-up pad can be specifically adapted to correspond with an abrasive article having a non-uniform distribution pattern. Alternatively, the back-up pad can be used in conjunction with conventional perforated coated abrasives. The abrasive articles having a non-uniform distribution pattern of apertures and the back-up pads can be used together as an abrasive system.
FLATNESS CONTROL STRUCTURE FOR A DRYWALL SANDER
A flatness control structure for a drywall sander, comprising: a device body, wherein the bottom of the device body is equipped with a rotating device, a housing is arranged below the device body, a sanding component is arranged inside the housing, the sanding component comprises a sanding piece, the bottom of sanding piece is connected to a sanding disc, and the bottom of sanding disc is connected to sandpaper, a threaded bolt is arranged between the sanding piece and the housing, a fixing component is arranged inside the housing, and an installation component is arranged inside the housing. The sander replaces the bristle sections with a wear-resistant strip which is less likely to deform when in contact with the sanding surface. When force is applied, the sander can be firmly fixed on the sanding surface, ensuring stability of the entire sander, thereby improving the flatness of the sanding surface.
Dust collection attachment system for handheld power tools
A dust collection attachment system for use with a power tool having an elongated housing with a nose portion including a rotary output shaft. The nose portion is configured to have an accessory device mounted thereon, where the system includes a flexible dust hose attachable to the accessory device for removing dust and particles from the immediate area of the accessory device. The accessory device has a dust exhaust port for connection with the hose and a hose support removably attached to a rear end portion of the power tool opposite the nose portion thereof for supporting the dust hose The support includes a releasable mounting clasp on one end for attachment to the rear end of the power tool and a hose retaining clip attached to the mounting clasp.
Adaptive Dust Shield Device Having Zero Standoff Capability
An Adaptive Dust Shield Device having Zero Standoff Capability for rotary grinders having a bearing housing and an axial groove around the bearing housing. The dust shield has a cover molded from a single shot. The cover has a plurality of upstanding flexible fingers, in multiples of four, which extend upward from the cover. A door is formed in one side of the dust shield cover to allow the user to use the dust shield in zero clearance situations. The flexible fingers have a defined width and are separated apart from each other by a space between each one. The width of the space is less than the defined width of the flexible fingers. A stretchable fitting ring fits onto the bearing housing of the grinder and under the flexible fingers. The flexible fingers are secured onto the stretchable fitting ring by a securing fastener. There are a plurality of vent holes formed in the top wall that are selectively pluggable with plug elements.
DUST-RESISTANT STRUCTURE FOR TOOLING MACHINE
A dust-resistant structure for a tooling machine is disclosed. The tooling machine includes a front plate including an accommodation member and a shaft supporter disposed inside the accommodation member. The dust-resistant structure comprises a bridging ring, a dust-resistant rubber ring and a dust-resistant sealing cover. The bridging ring is disposed corresponding to the front plate, and includes a ring body, an inside-ring region corresponding to the accommodation member, and at least one pressure release member formed in the ring body and interconnecting with the inside-ring region for releasing pressure. The dust-resistant rubber ring is assembled to the ring body and disposed in the inside-region region with an inner rim contacting the accommodation member to block dust. The dust-resistant sealing cover includes a cover body assembled to and shielding the accommodation member for blocking dust; and an assembling hole formed in the cover body and penetrated by the dynamic module.
Oscillating descaler and method for descaling a semi-finished metallurgical product
An oscillating descaler (1) for semi-finished metallurgical products comprises:a passageway (2) delimited by two opposite input and output sections (3, 4) crossable by a semi-finished product (10) to be descaled according to a rectilinear crossing direction (X) oriented from the input section (3) to the output section (4),a manifold (20) for a pressurized fluid extended according to a longitudinal direction (Y) defined between first and second longitudinally opposite ends (21, 22), arranged so that the longitudinal direction (Y) is not parallel to the crossing direction (X),at least one nozzle (30) for spraying a jet (31) according to a spray direction (Z) which is coaxial to a hole (30a) of the nozzle (30) and inclined towards the input section (3) and towards one of the ends (21, 22) of the manifold (20, 20b),motor means (M) for generating a rectilinear oscillating motion of the jet (31) along the longitudinal direction (Y).
SANDING APPARATUS
A sanding apparatus for sanding a vicinity of a drywall seam is provided comprising a housing structure including guide structures, a sanding roller, and a motor for driving the sanding roller such that the guide structures guide a sanding depth during sanding. The sanding apparatus further includes a vacuuming mechanism for capturing particles that result from sanding.
Smooth Finish Tool
The smooth finish tool corrects pipe ends that need to be perpendicular to its length. A cylindrical guide wall has an open and closed end. The guide wall envelopes the pipe end. An abrasive surface, such as a sanding disc, is affixed to the closed end of the guide wall. The guide wall has a port or ports to allow material discard and air flow. Because of the rotational speed, friction and resultant heat will be created so air flow is necessary to prevent excess heat buildup. Since the guide wall will be dependent on the size of the pipe the user is sanding, the guide provides a stable applied-force angle. A shaft, such as an arbor, may allow for variably sized tool attachments. Once done finishing simply remove the guide from the pipe.
Angle grinder with air intake filter
In a preferred embodiment, an angle grinder has a housing containing its electromotive drive, the housing having a free end from which an electric power cable extends, the free end having air intake openings via which cooling air is drawn into the housing. A filter assembly has a body and a filter medium supported by the body, the body being detachably attachable to the free end of the housing via, in some embodiments, latching projections. The body and the filter medium together form a projection-free outer face of the angle grinder when the filter assembly is attached to the free end of the housing. Air drawn into the air intake openings enters the filter assembly by way of the projection-free outer face and passes through the filter medium prior to being drawn into the air intake openings. The filter assembly may include a slotted opening through which the power cable extends.
