A mobile machine tool for coating and/or abrasive machining of a surface of a workpiece or a room using a working device which is mobile with respect to the surface and which includes a tool receptacle for a work tool driven or drivable by a drive motor for machining the surface and/or a coating device with a coating tool for coating the surface. The working device has a guide device having at least one guide contour, particularly a guide surface, for guiding along the surface, wherein the work tool or the coating tool is mounted for moving with respect to the guide device.
Sanding Tool Attachment
A sanding tool attachment includes an annular attachment body, a plurality of dust extraction holes, a tool fastening feature, a primary hook fastening feature, and a secondary fastening feature. The annular attachment body includes a first base wall, a second base wall, a lateral wall, and a central axis. The plurality of dust extraction holes is radially distributed around the central axis and traverses from the first base wall to the second base wall. The tool fastening feature is integrated onto the first base wall so that the sanding tool attachment can be secured to a random orbital sander. The primary hook fastening feature is integrated onto the second base wall and removably secures existing round sanding pads to the sanding tool attachment. The secondary fastener feature is integrated onto the lateral wall thus fastening a rectangular sanding strip to the sanding tool attachment.
A backing pad arrangement for an abrading system, and the abrading system
The application relates to a backing pad arrangement suitable for an abrading system. The backing pad arrangement comprises a backing pad (413, 513, 523), and an additional layer (418, 518, 528) or an abrading article (417, 527) adapted to be attached to the backing pad (413, 513, 523) with at least one fixing member (319, 419, 519, 529), which at least one fixing member (319, 419, 519, 529) is hollow in its longitudinal direction. The application further relates to the abrading system comprising the backing pad arrangement according to the application.
Sander
A sander includes a motor, a housing, a battery pack, a baseplate and a driving assembly. The motor includes a motor shaft configured to rotate around a first axis. The housing includes an accommodating portion for accommodating the motor. The battery pack is configured to power the motor. The baseplate includes a baseplate plane for arranging sandpaper. The driving assembly is configured to drive at least the baseplate to move eccentrically. The housing is further provided with a first grip portion, a second grip portion, and a coupling portion. The first grip portion is configured to be gripped by one hand of a user. The second grip portion is configured to be gripped by another hand of the user.
POROUS ABRASIVE ARTICLE
An abrasive article comprising an attachment layer and an abrasive layer. The attachment layer comprises a porous backing having a first major surface, an opposed second major surface, and a first plurality of voids extending from the first major surface to the second major surface. The abrasive layer has a third major surface and an opposed fourth major surface and comprises a cured composition, abrasive particles at least partially embedded in the cured composition, and a second plurality of voids extending from the third major surface to the fourth major surface. The first major surface of the attachment layer is adjacent the third major surface of the abrasive layer, and the pattern of the second plurality of voids is independent of the pattern of the first plurality of voids.
Abrasive Article
An abrasive article, in particular a coated abrasive disc, includes a plurality of holes which are arranged in a hole pattern. The density of holes decreases from an inner region of the hole pattern to an outer region of the hole pattern. At least one hole in the hole pattern is designed as an elongated hole.
Material Collection Device
A material collection device for a hand-held power tool includes a material collection container for collecting material removed during operation of the hand-held power tool. At least one opening of the material collection container is for feeding the material into the material collection container and is arranged in an opening plane. At least one mounting unit is for mounting the material collection container on the hand-held power tool. The at least one mounting unit includes a channel element for connection to an ejection port of the hand-held power tool. A channel longitudinal axis of the channel element is arranged transversely to the opening plane of the material collection container in at least one section plane running perpendicularly to the opening plane.
Mobile machine tool with suction unit and control method
A mobile machine tool for processing a surface of a workpiece or of a room having a working device which is mobile with respect to a surface of the workpiece or room, which working device includes a tool receptacle for a work tool driven or drivable by a drive motor and/or a coating device having a coating tool for coating the surface, wherein the working device includes a suction device for suctioning the working device onto the surface by means of at least one force component oriented in a normal direction of the surface, wherein the suction device has at least one valve for controlling an intake air flow and/or a negative pressure in a suction region of the working device for suction onto the surface, and wherein the at least one valve has a valve member which is adjustable between at least two valve positions in which a flow cross-section of the valve is different. The suction device includes a suction controller for adjusting the valve member during operation of the work tool or the coating device between its valve positions depending on at least one physical variable.
ABRASIVE ARTICLE HAVING A NON-UNIFORM DISTRIBUTION OF OPENINGS
An abrasive article having a plurality of apertures arranged in a non-uniform distribution pattern, wherein the pattern is spiral or phyllotactic, and in particular those patterns described by the Vogel equation. Also, provided is a back-up pad having a spiral or phyllotactic patterns of air flow paths, such as in the form of open channels. The back-up pad can be specifically adapted to correspond with an abrasive article having a non-uniform distribution pattern. Alternatively, the back-up pad can be used in conjunction with conventional perforated coated abrasives. The abrasive articles having a non-uniform distribution pattern of apertures and the back-up pads can be used together as an abrasive system.
