Abrasive peening apparatus and abrasive peening method
An apparatus capable of efficiently performing a metal surface processing. The abrasive peening apparatus includes a processing tank storing abrasive particles and peening liquid, and including a bottom portion in which a workpiece is immersed in the peening liquid; a dispensing chamber having a plurality of recesses on an upper surface, and disposed in the bottom portion to dispense the peening liquid; a stirring nozzle disposed at a center of the recess directing vertically upward and connected to the dispensing chamber to eject the peening liquid; a peening nozzle immersed inside the processing tank to eject the peening liquid toward the workpiece; and a moving device moving the peening nozzle relative to the workpiece.
Shot treatment apparatus and shot treatment method
A shot treatment apparatus ejects shot material from a nozzle towards a workpiece, and has the nozzle; a nozzle moving mechanism; and a three-dimensional information obtaining sensor; a pattern storage portion storing a nozzle reference operation pattern when the workpiece is installed at a reference position and a reference pose within the treatment compartment; a model data storage portion storing workpiece three-dimensional model data; a position/pose displacement calculating portion comparing the position and pose information and reference position and pose data when the three-dimensional model data is at the reference position in the reference pose to calculate a displacement in a position and pose of the workpiece from the reference position and pose data; and a nozzle movement control portion correcting the pattern based on the displacement in the position and pose, and controlling the nozzle moving mechanism to move the nozzle based on the corrected pattern.

PORTABLE CAVITATION PEENING METHOD AND APPARATUS
A method of cavitation peening may include coupling a moveable water source to a portable nozzle, through a flexible conduit. The method may include positioning the nozzle adjacent a treatment surface and discharging a first and second stream of fluid through a first and second channel of the nozzle, with the second channel concentrically positioned around the first channel. The first stream may have a first pressure, and the second stream may have a second pressure, the first pressure being greater than the second pressure and the two streams combining to generate a cloud of cavitation bubbles.
ROTARY WHEEL CLEANING DEVICE
A rotary wheel cleaning device comprises a feeding station, a cleaning station, a blowing station and a discharging station. The feeding station completes positioning, jacking and clamping of a wheel; the cleaning station completes cleaning of the wheel; the blowing station completes blowing of the wheel; and the discharging station transfers the cleaned wheel. The device can be used for automatic continuous production, in which the wheel can horizontally rotate and turn over during cleaning, so that the wheel is cleaned in multiple angles and multiple directions; and by skillful layout, feeding, cleaning, blowing and discharging of the wheel are orderly engaged, so that the cleaning process is coherent and cyclic, the period is short and the efficiency is high.
FLUID ETCHED FOAM
An absorbent foam having a first surface and a second surface is disclosed. The foam has one or more etched voids. The one or more etched voids have an irregular inner surface.
FLUID ETCHED FOAM
A method of etching an absorbent foam. The method includes providing an absorbent foam; providing a fluid etching process having one or more fluid jets, a carrier belt, and a stencil having one or more open apertures, wherein the carrier belt carries an absorbent foam under the one or more fluid jets, wherein the stencil is between the fluid jets and the absorbent foam; expelling a fluid from the fluid jets through the open apertures of the stencil; and etching the absorbent foam to create an etched foam having voids and one or more pieces of voided foam.

Shot processing apparatus
A shot processing apparatus in which a projection machine projects projection media onto a workpiece. The shot processing apparatus includes plural hanger transport devices and a control unit. The hanger transport devices are each, in a hanging state of a member on which a workpiece is set or a hanging state of a workpiece, capable of moving along a guide path inside the shot processing apparatus and capable of stopping. The hanger transport devices are also capable of providing self-identifying identification information. The control unit controls the hanger transport devices by outputting to each of the plural hanger transport devices a control signal appropriate to each of the hanger transport devices. This control is based on the identification information provided from each of the individual hanger transport devices and based on information related to each of the individual hanger transport devices stored in advance in association with the identification information.
