A towable rear tool attachment for a towable tillage tool is configured for soil clod sizing and firming. The rear tool includes a rolling cage that rotates when being towed and is in contact with a soil surface. The rolling cage includes a pair of circular-shaped end plates located at each end of the rolling cage, a ring-shaped support plate, in parallel with and between the end plates, structural members arranged equally spaced apart around a circumference of the end plates and the support plate, forming a cage-like structure. At least one of the structural members having a removable section between one end plate and the support plate configured for easy removal of rocks and other objects that can be picked and trapped inside of the rolling cage.

Dual basket attachment

An implement has an implement frame and a wheel for supporting the implement frame on a ground surface for movement in a direction of travel. The implement also includes a first basket coupled to the implement frame by a first arm and configured to work a portion of the ground surface, and a second basket coupled to the implement frame by a second arm and positioned rearward of the first basket relative to the direction of travel. The second basket is configured to work the portion of the ground surface after the first basket. A hydraulic cylinder is operatively coupled to the first arm and/or the second arm and configured to lift and lower the respective basket with respect to the ground surface to and from a raised position for travel. The hydraulic cylinder is further configured to regulate a pressure of the respective basket against the portion of the ground surface.

Spoils sifting and ground surface preparation apparatuses and systems

A work machine includes a chassis and a lift mechanism. A tow-behind attachment is positioned rearward of the work machine and includes a frame assembly, a spoils rake assembly, and a cage roller assembly. The frame assembly includes a forward portion and a rearward portion. The forward portion is coupled with the chassis and the lift mechanism. The rearward portion is coupled with and moveable to a plurality of positions relative to the forward portion independent of movement of the forward portion relative to the chassis. The spoils rake assembly is coupled with and extends downward from the rearward portion at a position forward of the cage roller assembly and is moveable vertically relative to the rearward portion. The cage roller assembly is coupled with and extends downward from the rearward portion of the frame assembly at a location rearward of the spoils rake assembly.

Agricultural system and method for monitoring plugging of ground-engaging tools of an agricultural implement

An agricultural system for monitoring plugging of a ground-engaging tool of an agricultural implement includes a signal transmission device configured to transmit wireless signals and a target provided in operative association with the ground-engaging tool, with the target being configured to receive the wireless signals transmitted from the signal transmission device. Additionally, the agricultural system includes a computing system configured to receive moisture data indicative of a moisture content within the field, adjust an output frequency for the signal transmission device to transmit the wireless signals from a current output frequency to an adjusted output frequency based at least in part on the moisture data, and determine when the ground-engaging tool is experiencing a plugged condition based at least in part on an attenuation parameter of the wireless signals transmitted by the signal transmission device at the adjusted output frequency and received by the target.

A grouser-cage attachment for equipment is an apparatus that imprints troughs into the soil. The apparatus includes a main frame, a roller, and a grouser cage. The main frame connects the roller with a piece of equipment or large machinery such as a skid steer. The roller presses the grouser cage into the soil. The grouser cage further includes a cylindrical frame, a plurality of holes, and a plurality of cleats. The cylindrical frame supports and positions the plurality of cleats around the roller. The cylindrical frame freely rotates around and with the roller. The plurality of holes and the plurality of cleats imprints troughs into the soil. The roller presses the plurality of cleats into the soil.
