DUAL BASKET ATTACHMENT

An implement has an implement frame and a wheel for supporting the implement frame on a ground surface for movement in a direction of travel. The implement also includes a first basket coupled to the implement frame by a first arm and configured to work a portion of the ground surface, and a second basket coupled to the implement frame by a second arm and positioned rearward of the first basket relative to the direction of travel. The second basket is configured to work the portion of the ground surface after the first basket. A hydraulic cylinder is operatively coupled to the first arm and/or the second arm and configured to lift and lower the respective basket with respect to the ground surface to and from a raised position for travel. The hydraulic cylinder is further configured to regulate a pressure of the respective basket against the portion of the ground surface.

A system for rotationally driving ground engaging tools of an agricultural implement may include a rotational actuator configured to rotationally drive a ground engaging tool of the implement about a rotational axis. A controller may be configured to determine a current ground speed of the implement based on data received from a sensor. Moreover, the controller may be further configured to determine a rotational output for the rotational actuator based on the current ground speed of the implement such that the tool rotates at a predetermined rotational speed relative to soil within a field. In addition, the controller may be configured to control the operation of the rotational actuator such that the actuator provides the determined rotational output to the tool while the tool is disposed at a working position relative to a soil surface of the field.

Vertical tillage system

A vertical tilling implement to be pulled behind and agricultural vehicle having a number of gangs of fluted-concave disc blades, rolling baskets, and wheels connected to a main frame. As the vertical tilling implement is pulled, the fluted-concave disc blades move the soil in a direction lateral to the side of the blades as well as up. Meanwhile, the rolling bars aid in leveling the seedbed and crushing the remaining large pieces of soil. The vertical tilling implement reduces the amount of subsoil compaction and cuts through heavy residue making it ideal for use in the fall or in the spring.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING PLUGGING OF GROUND ENGAGING TOOLS BASED ON LIFTING PRESSURE

A system for identifying plugging within an agricultural implement is provided. The system includes a ground engaging tool configured to be supported by the agricultural implement. A fluidic actuator is coupled to the ground engaging tool. The fluidic actuator is operable to adjust the ground engaging tool between a lifted position and a ground engaging position. A pressure sensor is configured to measure a pressure of fluid supplied to the fluidic actuator. A controller is communicatively coupled to the pressure sensor. The controller is configured to receive, from the pressure sensor, a signal that corresponds to the pressure of fluid supplied to the fluidic actuator. The controller is further configured to determine when the ground engaging tool is plugged based at least in part on the signal from the pressure sensor.

Paddle Scraper for Rolling Basket Attachment

An apparatus for use in a rolling basket of a tillage implement, the rolling basket comprising a plurality of elongated bars or blades spaced apart around a plurality of spaced apart rings, the bars or blades attached to the spaced apart rings, the apparatus includes an elongated support structure extending through a central axis of the rolling basket and a plurality of vertical stationary paddles spaced apart along the elongated support structure between the horizontally spaced apart rings.

Agricultural Implement with a Scraper Internal to a Rolling Basket

An agricultural implement having a rolling basket which includes a plurality of elongated members arranged in a substantially cylindrical shape. A stationary internal scraper is disposed in the inner chamber of the rolling basket and is adapted for breaking up a material from the inner chamber as the rolling basket is rotated around the major axis of rotation of the rolling basket. The internal scraper extends in an upward direction with respect to the major axis of rotation of the rolling basket with the upper edge of the internal scraper distally spaced away from and above the major axis of rotation of the rolling basket and with the lower edge of the internal scraper distally spaced away from and above the major axis of rotation of the rolling basket. The upper edge of the internal scraper is positioned above the lower edge.
