Agricultural rolling basket bearing assembly

An agricultural tillage implement includes a frame member and at least one rolling basket assembly coupled to the frame member. The rolling basket assembly has at least one bearing hanger, at least one rolling basket and at least one bearing assembly rotationally coupling the rolling basket to the bearing hanger. The bearing assembly has a bearing with an inner ring and a spindle holding the inner ring. The spindle is coupled to the bearing hanger. The spindle being configured to accommodate dynamic misalignment of the bearing.

VERTICAL TILLAGE SYSTEM

A vertical tilling implement to be pulled behind and agricultural vehicle having a number of gangs of fluted-concave disc blades, rolling baskets, and wheels connected to a main frame. As the vertical tilling implement is pulled, the fluted-concave disc blades move the soil in a direction lateral to the side of the blades as well as up. Meanwhile, the rolling bars aid in leveling the seedbed and crushing the remaining large pieces of soil. The vertical tilling implement reduces the amount of subsoil compaction and cuts through heavy residue making it ideal for use in the fall or in the spring.

DOUBLE ROLLING BASKET ATTACHMENT

An agricultural tillage implement includes a frame member and at least one double rolling basket assembly coupled to the frame member. The double rolling basket assembly has a forward basket and a rearward basket behind the forward basket. A horizontal beam is rotatably connected at the opposite ends thereof to the forward basket and the rearward basket. The horizontal beam has a pivotal connection to the frame member.

DOUBLE ROLLING BASKET LINKAGE

An agricultural tillage implement includes a frame member, a secondary frame member and at least one double rolling basket assembly coupled to the secondary frame member. A plurality of linkage assemblies interconnect the frame member and the secondary frame member. Each linkage assembly includes an upper link connected to upper connections of the frame member and the secondary frame member and a lower link connected to lower connections of the frame member and the secondary frame member. A force applicator operates against one of the links to move the baskets up and down.

The cultivating assembly can have a plurality of discs that engage and penetrate the soil beneath the cultivating assembly. The cultivating assembly can have a center section pivotally connected at the to the rear end of the frame, a first wing section pivotally connected to one side of the center section, a second wing pivotally connected the other side of center section where all the sections have discs connected to them. A pair of ground wheels can be provided connected to the center section so that the ground wheels are positioned in front of the cultivating assembly when it is being used to cultivate a field.

The pressure control system includes at least one sensor coupled to the at least one rolling basket assembly for sensing a load exerted on the at least one rolling basket assembly by a ground surface and providing a downward pressure measurement signal. The pressure control system also includes a controller in communication with the at least one sensor and configured to control the adjustable downward force applied by the at least one actuator.

An agricultural implement having a rolling basket is disclosed. A stationary blade is disposed inside an inner chamber of the rolling basket and attached at ends of the rolling basket near the bearings that are connected to the rolling basket. The rolling basket rotates around its major axis via the bearings, while the blade is held stationary. The stationary blade has sleeves at the ends, and each of the sleeves is connected to a post of a support arm and locked into the posts via a pin.
