CLAMPING JAW AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A CLAMPING JAW
A clamping jaw for clamping or holding a workpiece is described. The clamping jaw includes a base body and a clamping contour, which is provided for abutment against a workpiece and can be cooled by a cooling device. The cooling device is implemented by at least one coolant duct, which is provided for receiving a coolant and which is formed in the base body by a generative production (e.g., additive manufacturing) process. The formation of the base body is free of auxiliary bores. Furthermore, a method for manufacturing a clamping jaw is described.
Stabilizing door/object holding stand
A device for holding a door in a stable position while the hinges which affix the door to the door frame are either replaced or initially installed. The basic features of the device consist of a base to which two side panels are affixed opposite each other. One of the sides is equipped with one or more clamping mechanism with the other side equipped with cushioning pads aligned opposite of the clamping mechanism. Stabilizing rotatable outriggers are attached to each side panel to assist in the restriction of movement of the device relative to the floor. The device may be used in either a vertical or horizontal position depending upon the clearance between the door and the floor.
Vise jaws for holding irregular shaped objects
The invention relates to vise pivotal jaws for holding irregular shaped objects that are removable and modular to work on other prior art vises. The design allows ease of disassembly for cleaning and reassembly.
Vise
Disclosed are vise embodiments designed to lower manufacturing cost and work well in an automated CNC milling production environment. The disclosed embodiments include rigid vises having high clamp force and low internal friction. The embodiments include features for resisting the ingress of metal chips into sensitive moving parts through the use of commonly available seals and the flow of CNC coolant to flush metal chips away from the vise.
