SELF-LOCKING AND ADJUSTABLE DUAL RATCHET CLAMPING APPARATUS
The self-locking and adjustable dual ratchet clamping apparatus comprises a frame which is either a single rail or a dual rail structure having an integral ratchet rack on a side, a fixed jaw at one end of the frame, a movable jaw mounted on the frame and moves along the rail structure relative to the fixed jaw, a first ratchet system including a rotatable ratchet trigger pivotally connected to the movable jaw and is engaged with a locking pawl supported by the movable jaw to form a directional self-locking mechanism, a second ratchet system including a driving pawl engaged with the ratchet rack to form another directional self-locking mechanism, and a cascading mechanism connecting the first and second ratchet systems whereby the rotation of the rotatable ratchet trigger drives the movement of the driving pawl thereby translated into the movable jaw movement relative to the fixed jaw.
CLAMPS FOR FLUID CONDUITS
In the field of air handling, or indeed any type of fluid handling, there is provided clamp, for holding first and second fluid conduits in fluid-tight engagement with one another via respective flanges thereof. The clamp comprises first and second clamp body portions that define corresponding first and second mutually opposed flange engagement formations. The first clamp body portion is slidably received within the second clamp body portion to restrain linearly movement of the first and second flange engagement formations towards and away from one another. The first and second flange engagement formations are resiliently biased towards one another.
STRAIGHT EDGE CLAMP
The present invention relates to a straight edge clamp that has a clamping head assembly and a stop assembly mounted upon the body of the straight edge. The head and stop are not connected together and the stop assembly is free to move with respect to the head assembly. The stop assembly has a locking assembly that allows it to be locked to the straight edge. The straight edge clamp body can include sections that are adapted to be connected together to form the overall length of the straight edge clamp.
HINGED STRAIGHT EDGE CLAMP
The present invention relates to a straight edge clamp that has a clamping head assembly and a stop assembly mounted upon the body of the straight edge. The head and stop are not connected together and the stop assembly is free to move with respect to the head assembly. The straight edge clamp body includes at least two sections that are hinged together to allow the sections to be folded upon one another when not in use and unfolded when in use.
QUICK CLAMP PIPE VISE AND METHOD
A pipe clamp has a base with a fixed jaw and a beam extending from the base. A movable jaw member is slidably mounted on the beam. The movable jaw member includes a movable jaw disposed opposite the fixed jaw. A pivotable handle is mounted to the movable jaw member and a clamping mechanism is connected to the pivotable handle and operated by the pivotable handle to move the movable jaw relative to the fixed jaw. A latch secures the pivotable handle in any of a plurality of positions. A tripod stand may be provided for supporting the pipe clamp, the tripod having a multi-compartment storage spreader.
Clamping apparatus for a level
The invention provides a clamping system that includes a vise and a cooperating level holder to facilitate a wide range of options for positioning a level with respect to a structural member.
Bar clamp
A bar clamp has a slide bar supporting a movable jaw assembly. The slide bar is supported in a fixed jaw assembly. The fixed jaw assembly includes a drive mechanism for moving the slide bar relative to the fixed jaw assembly. Mechanisms for expanding the capacity of the bar clamp including the use of straps and two slide bars. Specialized jaws are provided where the jaws may be removable from the jaw assemblies. Additional clamping jaws are provided in addition to the movable and fixed jaw assemblies for varying the clamping force applied to a workpiece.
PALLET FOR TRANSPORTING ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS
A pallet, manufacturing system, and method for transporting and assembling different electrical connectors are provided. The pallet includes first and second jaw assemblies spaced apart from a connector support. The jaw assemblies include jaw plates with gripping edges that form a contoured opening therebetween. As the jaw assemblies move toward one another, dimensions of the contoured opening decrease such that the gripping edges contact and grip an electrical connector placed in the contoured opening. The jaw assemblies are connected to each other by a synchronization device that synchronizes motion of the jaw assemblies and centers the jaw assemblies about an alignment point on the pallet. The pallet accommodates a number of different sizes and/or types of electrical connectors.
OIL FILTER PLIERS
Oil filter pliers contains: a fixed part, a movable part, a hollow grip handle, and a press handle. The grip handle is connected with the fixed part which includes a first clamping arm and a hollow connection section, and the moveable part includes an slidable extension and a second clamping arm corresponding to the first clamping arm, wherein the second clamping arm moves close to or away from the first clamping arm by sliding the slidable extension relative to the grip handle. The movable part further includes a first toothed section, the press handle is rotatably coupled with the hollow connection section and includes a driving block and a second toothed section partially engaging with the first toothed section, and between the press handle and the grip handle is defined a torsion spring abutting against the press handle and the grip handle.
