QUICK GRIP POCKET HOLE JIG SYSTEM AND METHOD
A quick grip pocket hole jig system is presented having a support section having a clamp support, an end stop and a back stop. A clamping assembly is connected to the support section having a clamping rod that extends through the clamp support. A drill guide carrier having a drill guide assembly is connected to the clamping rod on a forward side of the clamp support. A clamp body having a trigger and a release mechanism is connected to the clamping rod on a rearward side of the clamp support. The clamp body is a quick grip clamp body that facilitates quick gripping of a workpiece positioned within the support section. The clamping assembly includes a return spring and a release mechanism such that when the release mechanism is actuated the drill guide carrier and the drill guide assembly are automatically moved to a non-clamping position.
DISMANTLING DEVICE FOR FRAME OF PV MODULE
The disclosed embodiments relate to a dismantling device configured for a frame of a PV module. The dismantling device includes a connection portion, a first holding portion, and a second holding portion. The first holding portion is connected to the connection portion and configured to press against one of an inner wall and outer wall of the frame. The second holding portion is slidably disposed on the connection portion and movably closer to or away from the first holding portion along a sliding direction. The second holding portion is configured to press against the other one of the inner wall and the outer wall so as to clamp the frame with the first holding portion and to distort the frame.
VARIABLE ANGLE CLAMPING ASSEMBLY
An apparatus and methods are provided for a variable angle clamp assembly. The variable angle clamp assembly comprises a first support arm that may be pivoted relative to a second support arm. A coupling mechanism enables fixating an angle between the first and second support arms. A clamp assembly is mounted onto an elongate opening disposed along each of the first and second support arms. Each clamp assembly includes a fixed jaw and a movable jaw that may be tightened by way of a threaded screw and a handle. The clamp assemblies are slidable and rotatable along the elongate openings. A lock stop enables the clamp assembly to be fixated relative to each of the first and second support arms. The clamping assemblies may be manipulated into a variety of angles and radial distances along the support arms to provide a variety of clamping solutions.
Powered Compression Clamping System
A powered compression clamping system is provided by a wrench which is engageable to a power tool such as a drill on a first end. A second end of the wrench has a connector thereon which is configured to removably engage a handle of a clamp to rotate it using the power tool.
Apparatus for circumferential separation of turbine blades
Embodiments of the present disclosure can provide an apparatus for circumferentially separating turbine blades. An apparatus according to the present disclosure may include: a length-adjustable elongate member having opposing first and second ends; a first clasp coupled to the first end of the length-adjustable elongate member, the first clasp shaped to at least partially engage an airfoil profile of a first turbine blade positioned circumferentially adjacent to a dovetail slot, relative to a centerline axis of the turbomachine; and a second clasp coupled to the second end of the length-adjustable elongate member, the second clasp shaped to at least partially engage an airfoil profile of a second turbine blade circumferentially positioned adjacent to the dovetail slot, the first and second turbine blades being circumferentially adjacent to the dovetail slot at opposing circumferential ends thereof.
CLAMP FOR STANDING SEAM
A clamp assembly that may be used for securing to a raised portion of a surface. The clamp assembly comprising a mounting body of a general block shape having a slot for receiving the raised portion formed in a bottom surface of the mounting body attaching the clamp assembly thereto. The clamp assembly is configured with one or more pins that may be formed in a substantially elongated cylindrical shape. The pins may be configured to be received in one or more push-pin holes formed in the mounting body, whereby the push-pin holes extend to the slot from a side surface of push-pin holes. The clamp assembly includes a fastening element adapted to be received in a fastener hole formed adjacent the push-pin holes in the side surface of the mounting body. The fastening element is configured to secure, attach and hold the clamp assembly to the standing seam by forcing the pins against the raised portion of the surface disposed in the slot.
HEAD STABILIZATION DEVICE WITH DETACHABLE TORQUE APPLICATOR
A head stabilization device includes a stabilization assembly and an applicator to control an amount of force that a stabilization feature applies to the head of the patient. The applicator includes a torque control feature that ensures a desired torque setting is not exceeding during use. The applicator can be detached from the remainder of the system such that the head stabilization device is usable without having a connected torque controlling feature or structures. The applicator in one version controls torque by adjusting a bending length of a pair of arms that extend within the applicator.
Clamp utilizing a shape memory alloy actuator to shutoff, squeeze off, plastic pipe and tubing used in the pressurized transmission of gas or fluid
This present invention utilizes a shape memory alloy (SMA) to improve on prior art in the design of clamps used for shut off, squeeze off, of plastic pipe which transmits gas or fluid under pressure. More particularly, but not exclusively, the present invention incorporates SMAs as actuators to simplify and improve clamp design for squeeze off of plastic pipe that is used in the transmission of pressurized gas and fluid. This invention may be deployed and operated remotely by the user. This present invention relates specifically to the application of trained SMA tubes, rods, bars, and beams as actuators for clamping and squeeze off of plastic pipe and tubing used to transmit gas or fluid.
MEDICAL FASTENING DEVICE AND MEDICAL DEVICE
a medical fastening device for an electromagnetic sensor with a clamping element and with a sensor mount and to a medical device with such a fastening device, with an electromagnetic sensor and with a medical instrument. The clamping element has a counterpiece and a pressing piece movable relative to the clamping element, wherein the counterpiece has a lateral opening, which frees a free mounting area, which is itself at least partially enclosed by the counterpiece in a frame-like manner. The counterpiece has a depression, which points towards the mounting area and is arranged opposite the pressing piece, wherein the counterpiece is provided with an opening arranged opposite the depression. The pressing piece is movable in the opening in the direction of the depression of the counterpiece.
Container clamp assembly
A clamping assembly includes a body defining a retaining area and at least one coupling element. The body further includes a first leg having an adjustable engagement member and a second leg positioned at an angle less than 90° relative to a horizontal axis. The clamping assembly further includes a rod having a first end coupled to the at least one coupling element of the body. The rod is operative to drive the body in a direction toward the first leg in response to a force directed toward a second end of the rod.
