Bar clamp with workpiece stabilization
Provided is a clamp that includes a rail with a track region, a first clamping jaw that is to be maintained at a first clamping location along the rail while a plurality of edge-aligned objects are clamped together. A second clamping jaw is adjustable along the track region of the rail and is to be maintained at a second clamping location along the rail on an opposite side of the plurality of edge-aligned objects from the first clamping jaw. A clamping mechanism urges a face of the second clamping jaw toward the first clamping jaw to impart a compressive force on the plurality of edge-aligned objects. A caul extends between the first and second clamping jaws and exerts a compressive force on the plurality of edge-aligned objects disposed between the caul and the rail.
Portable utility vise device
A portable utility vise device is provided utilizing a clamping assembly having a front elongate frame member, a rear elongate frame member, a left elongate frame member and a right elongate frame member. The left and right elongate frame members may each utilize a clamp bar coupled to an outer side surface thereof. Each clamp bar may have a rear clamp jaw disposed at a distal terminal end thereof. The front elongate frame member may utilize a clamp screw assembly. The portable utility vise device may further utilize a vise assembly coupled to the clamping assembly and having a left vise carriage and a right vise carriage. The left and right vise carriages may each have an elongate channel and a translation screw disposed therein. The left and right vise carriages may each have at least one coupling receptacle structure partially disposed within their respective elongate channels.
Modular Tubing Notcher System
A machining assembly which allows for precise and repeatable machining operationsprimarily tube notchingto be carried out by an operator in various situations, and is specifically designed for hollow-form parting without use of a mandrel in prototyping and small-scale production. This system allows operators to cut copes in both typical and atypical materials, and offers the ability to produce double end-coped workpieces quickly. Additionally, the preferred embodiment can be equipped for use as a light-duty milling machine which incorporates portability with the benefits of traditional milling centers.
AUXILIARY WOODWORKING COMPONENT
Embodiments of an auxiliary woodworking component may comprise a board having a first side and a second side and a peripheral side edge defining a shape of the board. At least one dovetail shaped first groove is in the first side of the board and having an opening at the peripheral side edge of the board and the at least one first groove extends in a first direction. At least one dovetail shaped second groove is in the first side of the board and having an opening at the peripheral side edge of the board and the at least one second groove extends in a second direction that is different than the first direction. Each of the first and second dovetail shaped grooves is trackless.
Modular clamp
A modular clamp is described. An example modular clamp includes a clamp assembly and a removable base member. The modular clamp includes multiple rotational aspects located an offset distance from one another and is thus usable to secure workpieces in a variety of positions and orientations while providing access for working thereon. The modular clamp further can be used in a variety of configurations and implementations to achieve a range of different working applications, which is not possible using conventional table clamps.
Clamping and spreading tool
A tool for providing a clamping force and a spreading force in the opposite direction of the clamping force. The tool includes a handle assembly having a trigger and a bar supported by the handle assembly. The bar is configured to move relative to the handle assembly when the trigger is actuated, and the bar includes a slot spanning from a first end of the bar to a second end of the bar. An inner rod is received within the slot, and a detent mechanism selectively couples the inner rod to the bar. The inner rod is received within the first end and coupled to the bar to provide the clamping force when the trigger is actuated, and the inner rod is received within the second end and coupled to the bar to provide the spreading force when the trigger is actuated.
Contact Surface Adapter and Components for Artificial Prosthesis Installation Clamp
In the use of devices and methods for measuring applied pressure on an article, such as a patella construct during a surgical procedure, differently sized and configured clamp bushing adapters can be interchangeably employed with, and removably secured to, a clamp stem to adapt to the relative sizes of objects being clamped. Embodiments of an installation cap can also be provided to assist with proper setup and operation by, for example, removably covering spike elements associated with a working surface of embodiments of the device.
Orthopaedic instrument for securing a bone
An orthopedic instrument for securing a bone includes a base plate, a cutting block removably coupled with an end of said base plate, and a V-shaped vice member slidingly coupled with the base plate and movable toward and away from the cutting block. The cutting block has a plurality of cutting slots, each of which has a predefined configuration. Further, the vice member is configured for centering the bone and applying a force against the bone toward the cutting block.
UNILATERAL SPINAL CORD COMPRESSION
An apparatus for unilateral spinal cord compression includes a fixed member and a movable member that moves longitudinally along the fixed member by using a linear actuating mechanism to compress a portion of spinal cord encompassed by the movable member and the fixed member.
Device for Facilitating Artificial Prosthesis Installation with Measured Applied Pressure and Method Therefor
Devices and methods provide for measuring applied pressure on an article, such as a patella construct during a surgical procedure. Embodiments include a clamp having an upper frame arm, a lower frame arm and a clamp assembly, and further include a clamp with a knob assembly and a pressure monitor assembly. Differently sized bushing adapters can be interchangeably employed with a clamp stem to adapt to the relative sizes of objects being clamped.
