Contact surface adapter and components for artificial prosthesis installation clamp
In the use of devices and methods for measuring applied pressure on an article, such as a patella construct during a surgical procedure, differently sized and configured clamp bushing adapters can be interchangeably employed with, and removably secured to, a clamp stem to adapt to the relative sizes of objects being clamped. Embodiments of an installation cap can also be provided to assist with proper setup and operation by, for example, removably covering spike elements associated with a working surface of embodiments of the device.
Clamp with Movement Management
A clamp includes a bar having top and bottom surfaces, a fixed jaw fixed to the bar, and a movable assembly movable along the bar. The movable assembly includes a movable jaw, an actuator that incrementally moves the movable assembly to apply a clamp force to a clamp load, a release lever to disengage the movable assembly to release a clamp force and permit free sliding of the movable assembly along the bar. The movable assembly may support a bearing surface formed of a low-friction material, positioned to prevent the movable assembly from binding to the bar when a clamp load is released. The release lever may be movable between a position engaging the bar, a position where the release lever disengages the bar, and another position engaging the bar, the third position being opposite the first position with the second position therebetween.
Mitre joint support
A support for a mitre joint uses two wedging mechanisms disposed at a characteristic angle. Each wedging mechanism is arranged to locate inside a hollow rail, such as within an extruded hollow beam. The wedging mechanism can be operated from outside the joint in order to clamp the mechanism in position. The mechanism has a self centering capability to assist in accurately locating the rails relative to each other.
Gear grasping device
A gear grasping device includes a main body, a first jaw, a second jaw, and an adjustment means. The main body is provided with a curved portion accompanied with an opening. The first jaw and the second jaw are disposed on the main body. The opening is arranged between the first jaw and the second jaw. By the adjustment means, position of the first jaw is changeable for adjusting a jaw span between the first jaw and the second jaw. Therefore, the gear grasping device is fit for sizes of gears, and is operation-friendly.
Adjustable Clamp
A clamp includes a frame, a first jaw coupled to the frame and fixed in position relative thereto, and a second jaw coupled to the frame opposite the first jaw and slidable relative to the frame. A stem extends at least partially through a stem aperture in the frame and engages with the second jaw. The stem is translatable relative to the frame along a stem axis and rotatable about the stem axis. A stem head is coupled to the stem, and the stem aperture is sized to prevent the stem head from passing entirely therethrough. A biasing element biases the second jaw towards the first jaw, and the second jaw is capable of translating relative to the frame along the stem axis in response to translation of the stem without rotating about the stem axis.
Clamp connector
A device for connecting two clamps, each of which has a rail, including a housing that has two insertion openings, which point away from each other and each of which has an adjoining insertion channel, for inserting a respective rail. The device also includes at least one adapter piece which can be inserted into one of the insertion openings and which reduces the free opening cross section of the insertion channel in order to insert a rail with a different cross-sectional area. The adapter piece has a lining which adjoins a collar. The lining rests against the wall of the insertion channel at least in some regions and forms an insertion channel with a reduced cross section in the inserted state, and the collar rests on an end face of the housing.
Screw clamp
A screw clamp has two clamping arms, between which a workpiece is clamped. In a clamping process, at least one of the clamping arms is moved by an axial movement distance by a clamping unit such that a clamping force acting against the workpiece is built up, which clamping unit can be manually rotationally actuated about an axis of rotation. The clamping unit is a threaded drive containing a radially outer adjustment sleeve which has an internal screw thread and a radially inner threaded stroke element, the external screw thread of which is in thread engagement with the adjustment sleeve internal screw thread and which can be brought into force-transmitting connection with the movable clamping arm. In the clamping process, the adjustment sleeve is rotationally actuated, whereby the threaded stroke element, together with the clamping arm connected thereto, is moved against the workpiece by the axial movement distance.
Powered compression clamping system
A powered compression clamping system is provided by a wrench which is engageable to a power tool such as a drill on a first end. A second end of the wrench has a connector thereon which is configured to removably engage a handle of a clamp to rotate it using the power tool.
Workpiece holding apparatus
A workpiece holding apparatus includes: a main body; at least one shaft member capable of coming into contact with a workpiece; a clamping device into which the shaft member is inserted, the clamping device being attached to the main body and capable of switching between an unclamping state that releases the shaft member and a clamping state that clamps the shaft member; and a trigger member configured to switch the clamping device between the unclamping state and the clamping state. The trigger member comes into direct contact with the workpiece, or comes into indirect contact with the workpiece via at least a part of the shaft member, thus moving relative to the main body, and the clamping device switches from the unclamping state to the clamping state.
UNIVERSAL END CLAMP
An end clamp for installation of a solar module comprising a cap member configured to cover an end of a rail and an assembly. The assembly includes a base member, a slider member straddling a portion of the base member, a spring member disposed to wrap around an end of the base member and to extend between the base member and the slider member, and a fastener to attach the cap member to the assembly. The slider member is configured to move relative to the base member to clamp down on a flange of the solar module.
