A guide arm is operatively connected to the component engagement member at a first end of the guide arm. A first post is operatively connected to a second end of the guide arm to move linearly relative to the guide arm. A second post at an end of the support post is disposed generally perpendicular to the first post and has a first end connected to the first post and a second end, distal the first end, and the second end is disposed opposite the clamping head. The second post has a generally trapezoidal cross-sectional shape along a length thereof between the first end and the second end, and the second post is configured to be inserted into a channel having a corresponding trapezoidal shape and formed in an auxiliary component to be clamped to another component.

STATOR CORE SUPPORT DEVICE, AND METHOD OF SUPPORTING STATOR CORE

A stator core support device includes two support members that are radially opposed to a stator core such that a central axis of the stator core is interposed between the support members, and an inverting mechanism that inverts the two support members. Each of the support members has a radially opposed face that is radially opposed to the stator core, a first axially opposed face that is axially opposed to a first axial side of the stator core, and a second axially opposed face that is axially opposed to a second axial side of the stator core. While the inverting mechanism is inverting the two support members that hold the stator core, the stator core is moved in the axial direction relative to the two support members.

Gripper device

The present disclosure relates to a gripper device which comprises: a belt pulley driven by a power-driven motor; a belt and another belt pulley driven by the above belt pulley; a ball screw driven and rotated by the belt pulley; nut brackets driven to be shifted along two rigid guideways by two reverse threads at both sides of the ball screw, respectively; a plurality of steel balls, which are installed between a nut bracket and a rigid guideway and sustain more stresses when a workpiece is clamped between two upper slide on the nut brackets.

Rail support system and method of use

A rail support system includes a clamp side having a channel to engage around a post; an extension curved around the channel; a first bar engaged with the extension; a handle attached to the first bar; and a second bar attached to the first bar via a lateral connector; pivoting the handle causes the second bar to apply pressure to the second side of the channel; a cradle side having an arm attached to the channel and extending away therefrom; and a cradle support attached to and extending away from the arm, the cradle support being vertically adjustable relative to the channel; the cradle support is to receive a rail; the clamp side is to secure to the post while the cradle side is to engage with the rail such that the post and the rail are held in position for welding together.

SCREW CLAMP
20230150095 · 2023-05-18 ·

A screw clamp has two clamping arms, between which a workpiece is clamped. In a clamping process, at least one of the clamping arms is moved by an axial movement distance by a clamping unit such that a clamping force acting against the workpiece is built up, which clamping unit can be manually rotationally actuated about an axis of rotation. The clamping unit is a threaded drive containing a radially outer adjustment sleeve which has an internal screw thread and a radially inner threaded stroke element, the external screw thread of which is in thread engagement with the adjustment sleeve internal screw thread and which can be brought into force-transmitting connection with the movable clamping arm. In the clamping process, the adjustment sleeve is rotationally actuated, whereby the threaded stroke element, together with the clamping arm connected thereto, is moved against the workpiece by the axial movement distance.

RESTRAINT AND STOWAGE DEVICE AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
20230381925 · 2023-11-30 ·

Embodiments relate to a restraint and stowage device comprising a fixed jaw and a movable jaw, wherein the fixed jaw is attached to an elongated rod. The elongated rod may be receivable through an aperture of the movable jaw. The movable jaw is positioned along the elongated rod such that an object may be securely restrained between the movable jaw, the fixed jaw, and the elongated rod. The position of the movable jaw may be fixed by an end piece.

Clamp and method for operating a clamp

A clamp, comprising a guide rail, a fixed jaw, which is arranged on the guide rail, a sliding jaw, which is displaceable on the guide rail, and at least one spindle, which is arranged displaceably on the sliding jaw and on which there is arranged or formed a pressure piece, with an actuation device, which is spaced from the at least one spindle and which actuable by an operator in order to control a displacement movement of the at least one spindle, with a force application device, which acts on the at least one spindle and by means of which a displacement movement of the at least one spindle is achievable, and with a transmission device, which connects the actuation device and the force application device.

Clamping device, in particular a vice

In a clamping device (1), in particular vice, the clamping device comprising: a housing (2) which is U-shaped in cross-section and in which one or two guideways (8) extending in a linear direction are incorporated, at least one base jaw (11) which is mounted in the guideway (8) and in which an internal thread (12) is provided, and a drive spindle (9) which is rotatably mounted in the respective housing (2), is arranged parallel to the guideway (8) and is drivably coupled to the respective base jaw (11),
the threads (10) worked into the drive spindle (9), through which the torques from the crank are transmitted for the linear displacement of the base jaws (11), should be permanently encapsulated in a watertight and airtight manner irrespective of the position of the base jaws (11) or the drive spindle (9), and on the other hand the adjustment travel (Δs) of the base jaws (11) or clamping jaws (13) should be as large as possible in order to clamp workpieces with configurations that can be completely different without the need for time-consuming and complicated conversion measures. This is achieved in that a right-hand thread and a left-hand thread (10) are worked onto the drive spindle (9) in regions, in that the respective thread (10) of the drive spindle (9) is enclosed or encapsulated by a cover sleeve (21), in that the cover sleeve (21) has a right-hand thread and a left-hand internal thread (22), which are drivably coupled to the respective thread (10) of the drive spindle (9), in that a right-hand and a left-hand external thread (23), which is in engagement with the respective internal thread (12) of the base jaw (11), is worked on to the cover sleeve (21).
