Ladder-supporting gutter clamping system
09915095 · 2018-03-13 · ·

A clamping system for supporting an extension ladder on a gutter utilizes at least one and, more preferably, a pair of identical, clamp(s) to capture the ladder preventing movement laterally or horizontally away from the gutter. The clamp includes a clamp body with a latch pivotably mounted thereto which is spring biased to the gutter-clamping position. A lock screw may be utilized to prevent the latch from releasing the gutter preventing the ladder from moving. A pair of ears extends from each side of the clamp body and have slots which engage the channels on a forward face of the ladder leg.

A machining assembly which allows for precise and repeatable machining operationsprimarily tube notchingto be carried out by an operator in various situations, and is specifically designed for hollow-form parting without use of a mandrel in prototyping and small-scale production. This system allows operators to cut copes in both typical and atypical materials, and offers the ability to produce double end-coped workpieces quickly. Additionally, the preferred embodiment can be equipped for use as a light-duty milling machine which incorporates portability with the benefits of traditional milling centers.

Pinching device for temporarily closing flexible tubing

The pinching device has an upper jaw assembly that pivots on a lower jaw assembly to clamp a flexible tubing between two clamping surfaces to restrict flow in the tubing. The upper jaw assembly is removable and may be replaced to accommodate different sized tubing. A lock down screw of a pivotal locking nut assembly is positioned in a compression seat of the upper jaw assembly at closure to avoid movement once set.

CLAMPING APPARATUS

A lifting and support device comprises a first yoke having a first support arm that defining a first wedge slot above the first support arm and a second yoke pivotally coupled to the first yoke having a second support arm inwardly extending toward and laterally spaced from the first support arm and defining a second wedge slot above the second support arm. The first and second wedge slots are substantially aligned when the first and second yokes are in a closed position. A wedge is configured for insertion within the first and second wedge slots when the first and second wedge slots are substantially aligned to hold a structure between the wedge and the first and second support arms of the first and second yokes in order to support a structure relative to the lifting and support device.

A tool clamping assembly and a sharpener are provided. The tool clamping assembly includes an arm body, its first end is connected with a sharpening frame, the arm body is provided with a top pin and a driving member, the driving member drives the top pin to move along an axial direction of the arm body; a clamping arm component, which includes a first clamping arm and a second clamping arm, the two clamping arms are mirror symmetric and are connected by a rotation axis. The rotation axis is connected to a second end of the arm body, and a torque member is provided on the rotation axis. The torque member is used to apply torque to the two clamping arms to jointly clamp the top pin at first ends of the two clamping arms; when the top pin is moved, the two clamping arms can be rotated synchronously.

A pitch bar self-adjusting clamp including a fixture having a handle and an opposing stationary jaw, a co-acting jaw pivoted to the fixture, a lever pivoted to the co-acting jaw, a guide bar pivotally coupled to the handle proximate the stationary jaw and movably coupled to the handle, and a toggle assembly coupled between the lever and the guide bar. The toggle assembly includes a locking element, a link pivoted to the lever, and a cam pivoted to the link and to the locking element. The cam is movable between a first condition permitting the locking element to reciprocate along the guide bar and a second condition bearing against the guide bar and canting the locking element into frictional engagement against the guide. An adjustment mechanism is coupled to the proximal end of the guide bar for movement between a low pitch position and a high pitch position.
