The wrench is particularly suited for accessing nuts or bolts or nuts that are located in areas where rotational action is very restricted and may be provided with an adjustable torque release spring biased ball detent mechanism that can be set to release the grip of the gripping jaws if the gripping force exceeds a predetermined amount to prevent damage to the nut or bolt due to over tightening.
