Tool for Driving a Fastener
A hand tool for driving a fastener is provided. The hand tool includes gearing that interconnects a splined socket to a rotatable or trigger actuator and increases a rotational speed of the splined socket relative to the actuator. The hand tool may include a power tool receiver or an independent motor to drive rotation of the splined socket to advance or retract a fastener from a threaded shaft. By increasing the speed and conserving rotational inertia, the hand tool reduces the time to secure a fastener on a threaded shaft. A rotatable nut is provided. The rotatable nut can slideably orient along a first axis and threadedly orient along a second axis to fasten to an adjacent surface.
Wrench rotational axis re-positioning apparatus
A wrench rotational axis re-positioning apparatus includes a housing, an interior cavity defined in the housing, input and output gear assemblies mounted to the housing and disposed in the interior cavity in a meshing contact with one another and rotatable about respective first and second axes arranged in a right angle configuration with one another, the input and output gear assemblies having respective input and output fittings for connection to respective drive and driven devices, and a ratcheting mechanism mounted to the housing and extending from exterior thereof into the interior cavity such that the ratcheting mechanism is presettable in either one of first and second orientations relative to the output gear assembly to enable the latter to correspondingly rotate in one or the other opposite direction about the second axis in response to the input gear assembly being rotated in either opposite direction about the first axis.
Ratchet Wrench
A ratchet wrench comprising a housing, at least one gear supported within the housing, one of the at least one gear comprising a drive hole, a stationary handle extending from the housing, a dynamic handle hingedly extending from the housing such that, the dynamic handle is rotatable between at least one handle open position and a handle closed position, and at least one pawl, each of the at least one pawl adapted to slide between a pawl open position and a pawl closed position, one of the at least one pawl adapted to be in engagement with one of the at least one gear at a time. The dynamic handle disposed in operative communication with the at least one pawl such that, rotating the dynamic handle towards the handle closed position causes the at least one gear rotate in one direction and releasing the dynamic handle causes pawl to return to the pawl open position without causing the at least one gear to rotate in the opposite direction.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USING AN IMPROVED WRENCH
An apparatus, system and method comprising an improved wrench designed and configured for usage as a hand tool used to tighten or loosen a hexagonal bolt and/or nut is provided. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to an apparatus and method comprising an improved wrench configured to be used without any need to disengage and/or reengage the tool in order to execute its intended function. In addition, the present disclosure can also be categorized as a novel and improved ratcheting wrench having a series of pawls configured to slip past a gear in one direction and yet capture when rotated in the opposite direction.
Bidirectional Mechanical Converting Unit
The present invention discloses a screwdriver comprising: a main shaft; a driving mechanism, the driving mechanism comprising a driving means and a reversing means, which are coupled to each other; and a handle for input of a torque. The handle engages with the driving means. By means of the driving means, regardless of a rotation direction of the rotation means, the torque is transmitted in a predetermined direction to the main shaft and output thereby. By means of the reversing means, the predetermined direction can be altered.
Dual Direction Ratcheting Device
A no switch, dual direction, ratcheting screwdriver (1), comprising a handle (60) incorporating a housing (50) encapsulated ratchet mechanism (11), further comprising a drive gear (30), attached to the housing (50) within the handle (60) and the driven gear (31) attached to the screwdriver shaft (20), the annular crown wheel type drive and driven gears (30, 31) having gear-engaging teeth (32) around their periphery. At rest a resilient member (40) prevents the drive and driven gears (30, 31) from engagement with each other. The operator engaging the screwdriver operating profile (26) into the corresponding screw head (81) naturally pushing the screwdriver handle (60) forward (FF), robustly engaging the fastener (80), further compressing the resilient member (40), robustly locking the drive and driven gears (30, 31) as one, the screw (80) being operated as required. As the operator relaxes the forward force (FF) during the reposition procedure (R) the drive and driven gears (30, 31) disengage from one another urged by the resilient portion (40) allowing a smooth minimum torque reverse procedure (R).
RATCHET SCREWDRIVER
A ratchet screwdriver includes a mounting seat, a control member, a driving shaft, two pawls and two springs. The mounting seat has a receiving space, a first slot and a second slot. A passage is defined through the mounting seat. The first and second slots have a hole respectively. The driving shaft has a ratchet portion located in the receiving space. Each pawl is biased by one spring so as to be engaged with the ratchet portion. The control member is rotatably mounted to the mounting seat and the driving shaft. The control member has two control plates to pivot the pawls to disengage from the ratchet portion of the driving shaft.
RATCHET WRENCH
A ratchet wrench includes a head shell, a handle, a ratchet wheel, a driving member, a first pawl member, a second pawl member, a first biasing member, a second biasing member, a cam member, an actuating finger, and a limiting member. The limiting member including a key slot formed in one of the actuating finger and an upper major wall of the head shell, and a key which is slidably engaged in the key slot, and which is formed in the other one of the actuating finger and the upper major wall of the head shell so as to restrict angular movement of the actuating finger.
One-way wrench switchable between two modes
A one-way wrench includes a handle, a toothed wheel, a detent, a rod and a gear train. The handle includes a shank and a head. The head is formed at an end of the shank and includes a chamber in communication with the tunnel. The toothed wheel is rotationally inserted in the chamber of the head. The detent is pivotally connected to the head and elastically engaged with the toothed wheel so that the head rotates the toothed wheel in a one-way manner. The rod is movable in the tunnel of the shank in a reciprocated manner. The gear train is arranged between the rod and the toothed wheel to convert the reciprocating of the rod to on-and-off rotation of the toothed wheel.
Axis fixing device for a ratchet wrench and ratchet wrench including the same
A ratchet wrench includes a body having a head and a shank interconnected to the head. The head includes a driving hole extending along a first axis and receiving a driving device. The shank includes a transmission hole receiving a transmission shaft. An axis fixing device is mounted in a transmission groove between the driving hole and the transmission hole and includes an axial hole extending through the axis fixing device along a second axis that extends perpendicularly to and intersects with the first axis. A gear coupled to the driving device is received in the axial hole and is rotatable about the second axis. A driving end of the transmission shaft extends into the axial hole and is connected to the gear.
