Diamond bodies and tools for gripping drill rods
Infiltrated diamond bodies for use in gripping drill rods and other tubulars. One example of such an infiltrated diamond body is a cast diamond roller having a plurality of pads that are separated by channels. Another example of such an infiltrated diamond body is a cast wrench jaw having at least one raised jaw pad.
Backup wrenches
A reaction torque limiting backup wrench arrangement (1) has at least one fastener engaging means e.g. spanner (6) or socket (170), for a pressure boundary bolted joint nut (5) of a respective fastener (3). The backup wrench arrangement provides a reaction torque up to a threshold above which rotation allowed by motion of the fastener engaging means is determined by a magnitude of the reaction torque and force deflection characteristic of a biasing arrangement acting directly or indirectly on the fastener engaging means. Tension in the flexible tension element e.g. chain (7) urges the spanner (6) onto the nut (5) of the fastener permitting the spanner to displace when torque transmitted through a bolt to the nut or bolt head within the spanner exceeds a threshold torque, enabling the nut or bolt head to rotate, helping prevent bolt over-tightening, and helping indicate the bolt seizing or galling.

Adjustable chain wrench and method of use
A chain wrench which utilizes ordinary high-speed drive chain to form an adjustable, replaceable chain wrench of unlimited length potential. A sprocket for gripping at the head of the wrench, and allows the chain to nearly completely wrap about the object to be turned or held, preventing the need for a gripping portion which tends to damage or crush the object being turned or held. Multiple such chains could be used simultaneously.

Oil Filter Wrench
An oil filter wrench includes a handle, a rotation knob, a wrench unit, and a oneway control member. The wrench unit includes a threaded rod, an adjusting member, a restriction piece, a clamping member, two screw members, a support member, and a fixed member. The oneway control member is pivotally mounted in the fixed member. Thus, the clamping member and the oneway control member clamp and drive the oil filter to rotate in a oneway manner only.

Sprocket Wrench With Clamp
A sprocket gripping tool has a clamp with first and second opposed jaws. The first jaw has first, second, and third holes and the second jaw has a first threaded hole and a protuberance receivable within the second hole of the first jaw. A threaded knob passes through the first hole of the first clamp and threadingly engages the second clamp to draw the jaws together. A lever arm with a grip end has a pin that engages with sprocket teeth and a hole for attaching one end of a length of roller chain. The other end of the chain attaches to the clamp. The grip end, roller chain and clamp all engage sets of sprocket teeth, so the sprocket may be torqued by the lever arm.

Expandable cable connector torque adapter
Torque adapter for a cable connector that expands to fit connector nuts of different sizes. The adapter fits around the cable connector and engages three of the corners of a hex nut with matching recessed regions in its inner surface. It has three slots that receive the other three corners of the connector nut. The adapter is flexible so that the slots may widen to accommodate connector nuts of larger widths. The outer surface may be hexagonal so that a wrench or similar tool may be used to turn the torque adapter.
