Fastener device with cam assembly
A fastener device is disclosed. The fastener device includes a hub defining a bore, an attachment shank including a proximal stop and distal bit received within the bore, a retainer releasably engagable with a proximal end of the hub and a defining a passageway for a proximal mounting end of the attachment shank, a biasing element engaged with the proximal stop, and a split cam assembly disposed within a distal end of the bore. The split cam assembly is biased toward a closed configuration for engaging and retaining the head of a fastener, and is piovtable upon distal advancement of the attachment shank and distal bit, against the head, to release the head from engagement with the split cam assembly.

Powered retaining screwdriver
The invention relates to a system and method for driving orthopedic bone screws. In one aspect the driver includes a powered driving rod that is configured to releasably couple with a recess in a bone screw via a threaded system for coupling and uncoupling the screw from the driving rod.
SCREWING TOOL FOR AN IMPACT WRENCH FOR SCREWING WHEEL NUTS ONTO AND OFF FROM A HUB BODY FOR SECURING A VEHICLE WHEEL, ESPECIALLY IN MOTORSPORT, AND AN IMPACT WRENCH
A screwing tool for an impact wrench for screwing wheel nuts onto and off from a hub body for securing a vehicle wheel, having a main body, which has an open side oriented toward the wheel nuts and which includes a hollow profile. The hollow profile has a tool contour, which is arranged on the open side and can be brought into engagement with a wheel nut contour. At least one peripheral control edge is remote from the open side for releasing a retention element. The control edge has a circular arc region with a constant control edge height h.sub.1 and a cam region with a control edge height h.sub.2 that decreases continuously and then increases again continuously. Height h.sub.1 is equal to h.sub.2 in the respective transition of the circular arc region and the cam region, such that the geometrical shape of an oval is reproduced in cross section.

Multi-Grip Socket Bit
A screw bit body which allows for efficient torque force application onto a socket fastener. The screw bit body includes a plurality of laterally-bracing sidewalls, a first base, and a second base. The laterally-bracing sidewalls are radially distributed about a rotation axis of the screw bit body with each further including a first lateral edge, a second lateral edge, a bracing surface, and an engagement cavity. The engagement cavity creates an additional gripping point to prevent slippage in between the screw bit body and the socket fastener. The engagement cavity traverses normal and into the bracing surface. Additionally, the engagement cavity traverses into the screw bit body from the first base to the second base. The engagement cavity is specifically positioned offset from the first lateral edge by a first distance and positioned offset from the second lateral edge by a second distance.
SCREWDRIVER WITH SCREW RETENTION MECHANISM
A screwdriver for resisting premature disengagement of a screw from the screwdriver. The screwdriver includes a shaft having a central axis; a tip radially aligned with the central axis of the shaft which includes an end opposite the shaft, at least one radial protrusion extending away from the central axis, and a notch; and a screw retention mechanism including a flexible member aligned with the notch and attached to either the tip or the shaft. The flexible member has an unattached end which is separated from the second end of the tip. When the tip is inserted into a recess of a screw, the flexible member flexes toward the central axis and creates an opposing elastic force which holds the screw to the tip.
QUICK DISCONNECT TOOL, QUICK DISCONNECT MALE CONNECTOR AND METHODS OF USING THE QUICK DISCONNECT AND MALE CONNECTOR
Provided are a quick disconnect tool and a male connector. The tool includes a socket, detents in the socket and a collar to open and close the detents. The male connector fits within the socket and cannot rotate within the socket. The male connector includes a recess into which the detents can lock the male connector inside the socket.
VARIABLE BOX SPANNER CAPABLE OF FASTENING AND DISSEMBLING BOLTS OF VARIOUS SIZES BY USING MOVABLE BOLT HEAD PROTRUSION LATCH AND ADJUSTMENT SCREW
The present invention provides a spanner box including a main shaft (3) which has a cylindrical shape, a screw thread (3-2) is formed in a central region of an outer side surface, a side surface is cut from the central region, a second spring groove (3-3) is formed in a bottom surface of the bolt head protrusion latch movement groove (3-4), and one end portion of an elastic part (4) is disposed in the second spring groove (3-3), first bolt head protrusion latches (1) each of which having a thickness suitable for being insertable into the main shaft coupling bolt tab (3-5), an irregularity (1-1) is formed in a bottom surface of a lower end portion, a spring groove (1-4) is formed at one side of a bottom surface of an upper end portion, and a movement groove (1-2) is formed at a center of a side surface.
