20170282257 · 2017-10-05 ·

A quick-change connecting rod assembly includes a connecting rod having a front end with a coupling hole. Two diametrically opposed coupling grooves are defined in a polygonal inner periphery of the coupling hole. The connecting rod further includes first and second radial holes respectively receiving first and second positioning balls. A first abutment ring is mounted around the connecting rod and is located between the first and second radial holes. A pressing seat is received in a rear portion of the coupling hole and includes a receptacle receiving a magnet and a pressing portion for pressing against the second positioning ball. A sleeve receives the front end of the connecting rod and includes an inclined face for pressing against the first positioning ball. A rear abutment ring is fixed in the receiving hole and includes a side stop wall for pressing against the second positioning ball.

CLEANABLE REVERSIBLE SOCKET AND DRIVER

A cleanable reversible socket and driver for a hex head fastener having a driver shank with a hex shaped shaft having a tool mounting end and a socket mounting end and a collar therebetween. A cleanable reversible socket is provided having a hex passage therethrough rotationally lockable with the driver shank hex shaped shaft, The socket is removably, nonrotatably mountable onto the driver shank shaft at the socket mounting end up to the collar having two different sized hex socket ends. A magnet on the socket mounting end of the driver shank is to be located at a bottom of one of the two hex socket ends when the socket is mounted on the driver shank to hold the hex head fastener in one of the socket ends.

HAMMER UNION WRENCH

The invention relates to a tool for applying torque to a hammer union having a hammer union wing with wing nuts. The tool comprises a wrench having an arcuate or circular shaped wrench head that can be placed around the hammer union wing, the wrench head having wing nut cavities in the inner surface for receiving the hammer union wing nuts, and sockets around the outer surface for receiving one or more lever members such as a torque bar and/or hammer lug for applying torque to rotate the wrench head. The lever member(s) may be positioned in any of the sockets in the wrench head, thereby allowing the lever member(s) to be repositioned during use with respect to the wrench head without having to remove the wrench head from the hammer union. The wrench head may be held in place on the hammer union wing using magnets.

A magnetic positioning device for a hand tool includes a body, a sleeve movably mounted to the body, a first clip and a second clip respectively mounted to the body, a resilient member mounted to the body to provide a resilient force to assist the sleeve to be moved to three positions relative to the body. A bead is inserted in a radial hole of the body so as to be engaged with a notch of a bit in the body. A magnetic member is received in one end of the sleeve to attract an object (a bolt) so that the bit can be easily drive the object which does not drop from the sleeve. The object is pushed to be separated from the sleeve by the bit when moving the sleeve to removing position. A magnet is received in the body to position the bit at the body.
