Lower Control Arm Decommissioning Device
20250162114 · 2025-05-22 · ·

A lower control arm decommissioning device is provided. The lower control arm decommissioning device includes a tabletop, a fixture operable to hold a lower control arm in a fixed position relative to the tabletop, and two opposing bushing removal tools configured for pushing simultaneously on two bushings of the lower control arm and displacing the two bushings from the lower control arm.

HYDRAULIC TOOLS

A hydraulic tool for working on a workpiece. A housing is configured for holding. A motor is positioned in the housing. A battery is supported by the housing and operable to supply power to the motor. A drive mechanism is supported by the housing and includes a cylinder, a piston moveably supported in the cylinder, and a pump powered by the motor and operable to supply hydraulic fluid to the cylinder to move the piston relative to the cylinder. A head is supported by the housing and has an opening for receiving the workpiece therein. A spindle is operatively coupled to the drive mechanism such that operating the drive mechanism moves the spindle towards the workpiece within the opening in the head to work on the workpiece.

PRESS TOOL ASSEMBLIES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR INSERTING BUSHING ASSEMBLIES

A press tool system for pressing a bushing assembly along a structural axis defined by a structural member comprises a brace assembly, a drive member, a retaining sleeve defining a sleeve passageway, and an actuator system. At least a portion of the bushing assembly is arranged in the sleeve passageway. The brace assembly is configured to support the actuator system and drive member such that at least a portion of the brace assembly engages the actuator system and the structural assembly and at least a portion of the drive member engages the actuator system and the bushing assembly. Operation of the actuator system causes the retaining sleeve to engage the structural member and displace the drive member and bushing assembly at least partly through the sleeve passageway along the structural axis.

SEPARABLE BLIND BEARING PULLER
20250345905 · 2025-11-13 ·

A separable blind bearing puller, having a main body assembly having a collet and a drive bolt and an expansion device, which is separable from the main body assembly, where the expansion device is preferably a ball bearing.

Systems and methods for preloading a bearing

A system for providing a load on a bearing mounted to a shaft includes an attaching member releasably connectable to the shaft and a press mechanism in fluid communication with a source of fluid and configured to provide a compressive load to the bearing. The press mechanism includes a switch having a base and a piston in communication with the fluid such that an increase in a pressure of the fluid results in the piston extending upwardly from the base and a decrease in the pressure of the fluid results in the piston retracting toward the base. The switch includes a lower proximity sensor and a higher proximity sensor. The piston is configured to extend upwardly from the base past the lower proximity sensor and to trip the higher proximity sensor. The switch is configured to control the increase in the pressure in response to the piston tripping the higher proximity sensor.
