The invention relates to a cylinder cover for a cylinder of a piston mechanism. In certain embodiments, the cylinder cover includes a cylinder cover body, a valve plate, and a one-directional valve. The cylinder cover body has an exhaust port, and an oil intake. The exhaust port and oil intake are disposed on outer circumference of the cylinder cover body. The one directional oil valve is formed by a compression spring and a ball. An inner end of the oil intake is connected to the compression spring through the ball and the ball is disposed between one end of the compression spring and the inner end of the oil intake. The valve plate is retained on an inner wall of the cylinder cover body by a retaining nut. The cylinder cover further has an auxiliary heating rod inside cylinder cover body for pre-heating cylinder cover to a predetermined temperature.

A pneumatic tool includes a drive mechanism configured to be driven by compressed air supplied from an air intake; an air chamber configured to store the compressed air supplied; and a pressure adjusting mechanism configured to adjust the pressure of the compressed air in the air chamber. The pressure adjusting mechanism includes a valve body configured to open and close a flow path that communicates the air intake and the air chamber with each other; an elastic body configured to exert an urging force to the valve body to open the flow path; and a pressure receiving member configured to receive air pressure in the air chamber and exert an urging force in a direction of closing the flow path to the elastic body. The fastener driver further includes a dry-fire lockout mechanism having a latch pivotably coupled to the magazine, and a link is coupled to the trigger for movement with the trigger. The latch is pivotable between a first position, in which the latch is disengaged from the link, and a second position, in which the latch is engaged with the link and inhibits movement of the link, and therefore the trigger, in response to the trigger being depressed. The latch moves from the first position to the second position in response to a number of fasteners remaining in the magazine being less than a predetermined value.

Disclosed is a system, method and apparatus operating on a high-pressure working fluid with high efficiency. The device has a reservoir of high-pressure working fluid. A fluid connection supplies the high-pressure working fluid at a controlled working pressure to a dose chamber to contain a volume of the high-pressure working fluid. A dose valve, biased to close, and able to be triggered open, is present between the dose chamber and a working chamber. A charge of the high pressure working fluid can be released from the dose chamber via the dose valve at a first end of the working chamber, to undergo a first expansion in the working chamber and do work therein to or towards a second end of the working chamber distal from the first end. The dose valve closes again before a pressure front of the charge in the working chamber has travelled less than or equal to halfway between the first end and the second end. This allows a second expansion of the charge to continue doing work. When the work is complete, the working chamber pressure is less than or equal to half the working pressure.
