The invention relates to a pneumatic expulsion device (10) for expelling objects (14) or fluid substances from a reservoir by means of a drive piston (18) which is subjectable to a gas volume compressible in a compression chamber (23), the drive piston (18) being provided with a drive mechanism for compressing the gas volume and with a trigger for expanding the compressed gas volume. The compression chamber (23) is provided with a relief mechanism for temporarily venting the compression chamber (23) and with a filling mechanism (41) for filling the vented compression chamber (23) with compressed air.

Driving tool

A driving tool drives a fastener by a striking mechanism. The driving tool includes a trigger, a contact arm, a contact lever and a regulator. The trigger and the contact arm receive manipulations which operate the striking mechanism. The contact lever is movable according to operations of the trigger and the contact arm and switches operating states of the striking mechanism. The regulator regulates a movement of the contact lever according to a movement of the contact arm in which another manipulation is released. The regulator operates with a fluid for operating the striking mechanism, and keeps the contact lever at an operation standby position where the contact lever is operated by manipulation of the contact arm for a predetermined time period by controlling a flow rate of the fluid.

Pneumatic nail gun with safety control chamber

A pneumatic nail gun comprises a working piston connected to a driving ram that is configured to drive in a fastening means and is pressurized by air when a driving process is initiated. A hand-operated trigger and a contact sensor. Simultaneous actuation of the hand-operated trigger and contact sensor activates a first control valve and initiates the driving process if the pressure in a safety control chamber is above a given pressure threshold. A second control valve is configured to be activated upon actuation of the trigger. The safety control chamber is continuously de-aerated via a throttle and is separated from a pressurized casing interior when the second control valve is activated.

In driving tools that perform driving actions on the condition that both the trigger and contact arm are activated, when the reference time t is reached after the trigger is activated, the power supply to the actuator is cut off, thereby allowing the contact arm stopper element to be moved to the lock position. The lock arm prohibits activation of the contact arm. The quicker motion of the actuator achieves a smoother transition to the locked state.

DRIVING TOOL

A driving tool includes a housing having a support shaft for operably supporting an operating member, a contacting member which is capable of contacting and separating from a workpiece into which a fastener is to be driven, and which operates by contacting the workpiece, a pressure chamber to which and from which a compressible gas is supplied and discharged, a striking part operating in a direction to strike the fastener, a gas supply mechanism, and a transmission control member for controlling the operation of the gas supply mechanism, said operation being based on the operation of at least one of the operating member and the contacting member or the operation of both of them, wherein the fastener is struck when an operating force is applied to the operating member and to the transmission control member, and the contacting member is operated.

Powered fastener driver

A pneumatic fastener driver is operable in a single sequential mode and a bump-fire mode. The pneumatic fastener driver includes a housing, a nosepiece extending from the housing from which fasteners are ejected, and a trigger moveable between a default position, in which a drive cycle is inhibited from initiating, and a depressed position, in which the drive cycle is permitted to be initiated. The pneumatic fastener driver further includes a contact arm movable relative to the nosepiece between an extended position and a retracted position, and a timeout mechanism operable in the bump-fire mode to inhibit the drive cycle from being initiated in response to inactivity of the contact arm over a preset time interval that begins once the trigger is actuated from the default position to the depressed position.

Switch Device For Nail Gun

A switch device for a nail gun includes a body having a main chamber and a cylinder is received in the main chamber. A main path communicates with the cylinder. A recess is formed in the body and a valve is received in the recess. An end member is connected to the rear end of the body. An air way communicates between the recess and the end member. A first release path communicates the recess and outside of the body. A communication path communicates between the main chamber and the recess. A switch member is located at the communication path. By operating the switch member, the features of single mode and automatic mode of the nail gun is controlled.

POWERED FASTENER DRIVER

A fastener driver includes a cylinder, a moveable piston positioned within the cylinder, and a driver blade attached to the piston and movable therewith between a top-dead-center (TDC) position and a bottom-dead-center (BDC) position. A lifter is operable to move the driver blade from the BDC position toward the TDC position. A transmission is provided for providing torque to the lifter. The lifter includes a hub and a plurality of lugs extending therefrom. Each lug is engageable with the driver blade when moving the driver blade from the BDC position toward the TDC position. The hub and the lugs are integrally formed as a single piece. The lifter includes a first side and an opposite second side. Each of the first side and the second side is flat.
