PNEUMATIC TOOL
A pneumatic tool includes a drive mechanism configured to be actuated by a pneumatic pressure of compressed air, a body housing having the drive mechanism embedded therein, a grip housing connected to the body housing, and an electromagnetic valve configured to control supply of the compressed air to the drive mechanism, wherein the electromagnetic valve is arranged on an opposite side to the body housing, as seen in an extension direction of the grip housing.
GAS SPRING FASTENER DRIVER
A fastener driver includes a drive blade movable from a retracted position to a driven position for driving a fastener into a work piece. The fastener driver further includes a gas spring mechanism for driving the drive blade from the retracted position to the driven position. The gas spring mechanism is moveable between a retracted state and a driven state. The fastener driver further includes a first return mechanism for moving the drive blade from the driven position toward the retracted position, and a second return mechanism for returning the gas spring mechanism toward the retracted state separately from movement of the drive blade.
Fuel system for a combustion driven fastener hand tool
A combustion driven fastener hand tool is disclosed having a fuel system subassembly including a fuel nozzle and a metering valve, disposed in a common bore of the combustion driven fastener apparatus. The metering valve comprises a hollow cylindrical housing having a cap at each end and a central dual valve stem therebetween. Movement of the dual central valve stem closes an inlet valve at one end and opens an outlet valve at an opposite end in a coordinated manner to release a metered amount of fuel through the outlet valve while preventing additional fuel through the inlet valve. The combustion driven fastener hand tool includes numerous other features affording improvements over the prior art.
Gas spring fastener driver
A fastener driver includes a drive blade movable from a retracted position to a driven position for driving a fastener into a workpiece and a gas spring mechanism for driving the drive blade from the retracted position to the driven position. The gas spring mechanism includes a piston movable between a retracted position and a driven position. The fastener driver further includes a first return mechanism for moving the drive blade from the driven position toward the retracted position, and a second return mechanism for moving the piston from the driven position toward the retracted position.
Electric nail gun
An electric nail gun includes a cylinder unit, a nail-striking unit and a valve unit. The cylinder unit includes a striking cylinder that surrounds a first axis and that defines a cylinder chamber, and a cylinder lid that cooperates with the striking cylinder to define a gas storing chamber communicating with the cylinder chamber. The cylinder lid includes a passage that communicates with the gas storing chamber, and that extends along a second axis. The nail-striking unit includes a piston assembly that is adapted for striking a nail. The valve unit includes a valve assembly that is accommodated in the passage. The valve assembly is operable to convert between a first state, in which the gas is allowed to flow between the gas storing chamber and an external environment through the passage, and a second state, in which the gas is refrained from flowing through the passage.
Gas spring fastener driving tool with fill valve located in an end cap
A gas-spring fastener driving tool has a working cylinder and a pressurized main storage chamber to hold the gases that will drive the cylinder's piston and driver combination. An end cap is placed on the upper (back) end of the pressure chamber, above the cylinder, with a set of seals and a set of fasteners; the fasteners can be removed by a userone at a timeto safely release the stored gas pressure from the tool, for maintenance or repair of the interior parts. The end cap includes a fill valve positioned along the side of the working cylinder which allows refilling gases to flow through passageways in the end cap, then into the working cylinder and pressure chamber, thereby bringing the tool up to its nominal working pressure. In some embodiments, the fill valve can also act as a pressure release valve.
POWERED-FASTENER-DRIVING TOOL INCLUDING A DRIVER BLADE HAVING A VARYING CROSS-SECTION
Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a powered-fastener-driving tool including driver blade that has a varying cross-section.
Combustion driven fastener hand tool
A combustion driven fastener hand tool is disclosed having an extruded front body component including two to three parallel bores. A first bore forms a cylinder for the piston which drives the fastener. A second bore forms a primary combustion chamber in which a fuel and air mixture is ignited and directed into the adjacent piston cylinder. A third bore (or alternately an attached component) forms a pathway for the fuel and air mixture to be directed into the primary combustion chamber. The combustion driven fastener hand tool includes numerous other features affording improvements over the prior art.
Driving device
A driving device includes an operable striking unit, a piston upper chamber configured to operate the striking unit by gas pressure, a housing, a head cap provided in the housing, a passage provided in the head cap, and an exhaust valve operably provided in the housing and configured to open and close the passage. The exhaust valve includes a contact portion and a non-contact portion, the contact portion comes into and out of contact with the head cap on an outer side of the passage in a radial direction of the passage, the non-contact portion is provided on an inner side of the contact portion in the radial direction of the passage, and the non-contact portion is provided at a position separated from the head cap in a state where die contact portion is in contact with the head cap.
