Gas-operated fixing tool and method of operating it
Gas-operated fixing tool including a working chamber, a piston mounted slideably in the working chamber and comprising a driving rod of which a first longitudinal end is configured to drive a fixing element and of which a second longitudinal end is connected to a head which separates the working chamber into a first portion and into a second portion which is traversed by the rod, and at least one combustion chamber in which a mixture of air and fuel is intended to be burnt in order that combustion gases generate a rise in pressure that causes a movement of the piston in the working chamber, wherein the at least one combustion chamber is in fluid communication with the second portion in such a way that the rise in pressure causes the movement and the return of the piston into a rest position ready for firing a fixing element.

Tool with charge advance mechanism
A powder actuated fastening tool including a charge advance apparatus for advancing a powder charge strip relative to a barrel of the tool, wherein the charge advance apparatus includes a rotatable ratchet having teeth for engaging receptacles formed in the powder charge strip, and a charge advance member coupled to a trigger of the tool, wherein the charge advance member acts on the rotatable ratchet to rotate the ratchet in response to actuation and/or release of the trigger, such that the rotation of the ratchet causes advance of the powder charge strip relative to the barrel.
Fastener driving tool
A fastener driving tool including a housing and a workpiece contact element movably connected to the housing, where the workpiece contact element is movable between a rest position and an activated position. A trigger assembly including a bottom assembly and a top assembly is movably connected to the housing. The tool includes an actuation lever movably connected to the bottom assembly of the trigger assembly and movable between a rest position and an engaged position. The top assembly includes a downwardly extending block configured to engage the actuation lever. A damper mechanism is associated with the actuation lever and is configured to control a rate of movement of the actuation lever.

Apparatus for installing fasteners and explosive loads for use therewith
An improved tool for installing an explosively driven fastener as well as an improved explosively driven fastener for use therewith are disclosed. The fastener includes a nail having a head with an explosive load attached thereto in a plastic cap that includes a buffer. The tool has a plurality of concentric cylinders and springs including a muzzle for receiving the fastener head and explosive load. A spring actuated firing pin ignites the load causing it to explode and drive the nail out of the tool. The explosion also automatically resets the tool. The tool and the fastener provide many advantages over existing explosively driven fasteners and the tools used to install them.
Concrete nailer having magazine cutout for deep tracks
A concrete nailer has a cutout defined by a magazine. The cutout is disposed proximate the drive track of the concrete nailer and provides the concrete nailer with sufficient reach to perpendicularly nail a complete range of U-shaped channels or track available to the job site against concrete, even though the magazine accommodates both long and short nails. The concrete nailer has the added ability to nail thick boards like 24's to concrete.
POWERED FASTENER DRIVING TOOL
A powered fastener driving tool, and particularly a powder-actuated fastener driving tool including a housing assembly partially defining a plurality of pawl leg pockets, a piston assembly and a barrel assembly removably and partially positionable in a receiver assembly that is partially positioned in the housing assembly, a plurality of attachment pawls including respective legs positioned in respective ones of the pawl leg pockets and configured to maintain the piston assembly and the barrel assembly removably and partially positionable in the receiver assembly,
NAIL BLOCKING MEMBER FOR NAIL GUN
A nail blocking member for nail gun is provided. The nail gun includes a firing portion for firing a nail. When an object is pressed upon the nail blocking member by the firing portion, the nail is fired by the firing portion to enter the object. The nail blocking member includes a main body having a contact face, with a formation groove concavely disposed on the contact face, and a guiding block convexly disposed in the formation groove. An object is pressed upon the contact face by the firing portion, and a nail is fired by the firing portion to enter the object to hit the guiding block, such that the nail is guided by the guiding block to move toward the formation groove, so as to be bent along the formation groove and reversely folded back into the object.
Nail Gun
A nail gun includes a power module, a magazine module and a detection module. The power module performs a nail-driving operation by receiving a first pressure, and is prevented from receiving the first pressure when the power module is subjected to a second pressure. The detection module includes a valve rod and a detection member operable to pivot between an unsealing position and a sealing position. The detection member is moved to the sealing position when the number of the nails in the magazine module is less than a predetermined amount.
