The invention relates to a stapling device (10, 10), comprising: an anvil leg (12), which bears, in its front region (16), an anvil plate (18); a staple magazine (24), which can be pivoted to a limited extent relative to the anvil leg (12) about a transverse axis (22) located in the rear region (20) of the anvil leg (12); a driver (30) for carrying out stapling through a gap (28) at the front end (26) of the staple magazine (24), said gap being located above the anvil plate (18); and an actuation apparatus (34) for acting upon the driver (30) toward the anvil plate (18) against the restoring force of a driver spring (48); wherein the actuation apparatus (34) has a solenoid (36) and a striking pin (40) for acting upon a driver anvil (46) fixedly connected to the driver (30), the striking pin being movable by means of the magnet coil (36), and wherein, between the gap (28) and the transverse axis (22), the staple magazine (24) is supported on the anvil leg (12) by means of a magazine spring (50). According to the invention, the magazine spring (50) is dimensioned such that, in the absence of external forces, the staple magazine (24) lies on the anvil leg (12) or on the anvil plate (18).

ELECTRIC STAPLER

An electric stapler includes a base and a press portion articulated to the base. The press portion is provided with, from down to up, a staple channel assembly configured to receive a staple, a staple pressing plate assembly configured to press the staple and a drive assembly in sequence. The position of the drive assembly is fixed relative to the press portion. The staple channel assembly and the staple pressing plate assembly are rotatable relative to the press portion. The drive assembly includes a power unit and an execution component connected to the power unit to press or raise the staple pressing plate assembly. The above electric stapler addresses the technical issues that the staple channel cannot reset automatically after the staple is stuck and it is difficult to clear away a failed staple.

The electric stapler includes a main body, a striking device, a pivot element, and a switch. The main body encloses a receiving space and has a front opening. The striking device is arranged in the receiving space and includes a movable striking mechanism. An end of the pivot element is pivotally connected to the striking mechanism, and an other end of the pivot element has a pressing portion. The switch is arranged in the receiving space of the main body and is connected to the striking device. The striking mechanism is driven to move to a striking position to strike a nail out when the switch is triggered. The switch is triggered when the pressing portion is pushed toward the switch by a papersheet.

The elastic stapler includes a main body, a striking device, a switch structure, and an elastic guiding element. The main body has a front opening and a working platform below the front opening. The striking device is arranged in the receiving space and has a movable striking mechanism. The switch structure is connected to the striking device. When a papersheet is inserted into the front opening of the main body to trigger the switch structure, the striking mechanism moves downward to strike a nail out. The elastic guiding element is arranged at the front opening of the main body. When the striking mechanism moves downward, the elastic guiding element abuts against the papersheet, and the elastic guiding element is compressed to bring the papersheet inward.

To allow a single stapling device to easily function as both an eyeglass-clinch stapling device and a flat-clinch stapling device, the stapling device includes a staple delivering portion (a knock pin) delivering a staple, a supporting table (a platform) for paper, and a clincher bending legs of the staple. The staple delivering portion, the supporting table, and the clincher are relatively movable. The stapling device further includes a controller (an operation timing controller) variably controlling timings when the staple delivering portion and the clincher move relative to the supporting table.

The electric stapler includes a main body, a striking device, a photoelectric switch, a pivot element, and a triggering element. The striking device arranged in the main body includes a movable striking mechanism. The striking mechanism tends to stay at an original position. The photoelectric switch is connected to the striking device. An end of the pivot element is pivotally disposed on the main body, and the other end has a pushing portion. The pivot element tends to stay at a first position due to an elastic means. The triggering element movably arranged between the photoelectric switch and the pushing portion tends to stay at a reset position. When an abutting portion of the pivot element is pushed by papersheets, the pivot element pushes the triggering element to a triggering position, and the photoelectric switch is triggered so that the striking mechanism strikes a nail out.

Flat clinch anvil assembly

A flat clinch assembly fits upon or within a base of a stapling device. The assembly preferably includes a slot with extended resiliently biased arms or toggles, where a rest position has the arms at or near a level of a working surface. An ejecting staple deflects and energizes the arms to cause the arms to rotate and create a clearance recess whereby points of the staple legs slide inward along the anvil. A restorative bias acting on the arms causes the arms to rebound to a rest position and to bend the legs upward. The legs thereby are normally pressed flat against the back sheet of a paper stack at the working surface. The arms or toggles are lightweight whereby the inertia of a fast-moving staple moves the arms or toggles. The toggle may include an upward facing staple leg guide channel.
