Power tool dust collector

An auxiliary handle can be used with a power tool having a housing that includes a first notch and a second notch. The auxiliary handle includes a shaft, a first clamp coupled to the shaft and having a first protrusion configured to engage the first notch, a second clamp arranged on the shaft and having a second protrusion configured to engage the second notch, and a grip coupled to the shaft. When the first protrusion of the first clamp engages the first notch and the grip is rotated relative to the second clamp, the second clamp is moved toward the first clamp, such that the first protrusion engages the first notch and the second protrusion engages the second notch to couple the auxiliary handle to the housing of the power tool.

A telepole for swimming pool cleaning is disclosed as including an inner tube and a locking device to temporarily secure the inner tube in a desired position within an outer tube. A preferred lightweight design may be at least partially hollow, and durability may be provided by inner/reinforcement wall(s) in one or both of the tubes. A collar element is disclosed as “locking” the inner tube in place within the outer tube. The collar's opening and the profile of the inner tube are disclosed in a relationship that prevents the inner tube from rotating within the collar. The inner tube is disclosed as having a series of holes along its length to receive a pin element of a detent mechanism. The end of the outer tube opposite the collar is disclosed as having multiple sets of attachment holes to receive attachable and detachable swimming pool cleaning tools.

A handle assembly for a surgical tool including a handle having a distal end, and a first retaining mechanism attached to the distal end of the handle. The retaining mechanism includes a first retaining housing having a first central cavity for receiving a surgical tool, and a first locking mechanism moveable between first and second positions relative to the housing, the locking mechanism including a through hole for receiving the surgical tool. The handle assembly further includes a second retaining mechanism attached to a proximal end of the handle. The second retaining mechanism includes a second retaining housing having a second central cavity for receiving a handle extension, and a second locking mechanism moveable between first and second positions relative to the second retaining housing, the second locking mechanism having a through hole for receiving the handle extension.

Tool assembly comprising universal handle and interchangeable tool heads

A tool assembly includes an elongated handle and a locking system for attaching a tool head to the handle. The tool head can be a floor care tool or other accessory that can be attached to the handle such that the elongated length of the handle can aid in the use of the tool attached. The locking system includes a keyed locking collar for engaging at least a first portion of the tool head, and a locking cap rotatably positioned on the handle for engaging a second portion of the tool head. The handle can be extendable, such as by telescoping, and can also be overmolded.

Pocket Brush and Tool Holder

Improvements in a pocket brush and tool holder for brushes and tools to hold a paint brush, scraping tool, a utility knife, a dusting brush, and marking tool or other tools for elevated, lowered or difficult-to-reach can be dangerous or require a ladder or other equipment. The holder uses clamping faces with springs that open the faces to allow for easier insertion of the tool within the clamping faces. Wingnuts are used on the threaded fasteners to draw the clamping faces together and allow for high clamping forces. The head angle can be adjusted and locked into position using teeth or detents on the rotating head to prevent undesired rotation when high forces are placed on the clamped tool.
