An adjustable tool holder is configured for interchangeable use with a variety of tools provided with different connection elements. The connection elements include at least a first connection element configured for a first manner of connection with the tool holder and a second connection element configured for a second manner of connection with the tool holder. The tool holder includes a distally extending tool support operable to detachably support each of the tools. The tool support includes a first tool connector configured to releasably connect with the first connection element in the first manner of connection. The tool support includes a second tool connector configured to releasably connect with the second connection element in the second manner of connection.

An offset connector subdivides a long, slender tool or implement handle. The offset connector may be provided with one or more unitary or replaceable grips. The additional grips serve as secondary or tertiary hand holds that enable more adaptable and capable ergonomic manipulation of the tool or implement. The offset connector is inserted intermediate between a primary handle grip and the tool or implement head, thereby subdividing the long slender tool or implement handle into at least two separate handle segments. Each handle segment is inserted into a handle segment receiver socket, and is affixed therein using a bolt, screw, or other fastener that is longitudinally co-axial with the longitudinal axis of the handle segment. Some embodiments establish fixed spacing between the primary handle, secondary handle, and implement. Other embodiments provide variable spacing therebetween.

A tool assembly includes an elongated handle and a locking system for attaching a tool head to the handle. The tool head can be a floor care tool or other accessory that can be attached to the handle such that the elongated length of the handle can aid in the use of the tool attached. The locking system includes a keyed locking collar for engaging at least a first portion of the tool head, and a locking cap rotatably positioned on the handle for engaging a second portion of the tool head. The handle can be extendable, such as by telescoping, and can also be overmolded.

A replaceable tool is provided, including: a main body, including a connecting hole extending along a first axis; a control member, inserted within the main body and including a detent member, being movable between a locked position and a release position along a second axis lateral to the first axis; wherein when the control member is located in the locked position, the detent member radially protrudes within the connecting hole; when the control member moves from the locked position to the release position, the detent member is away from the first axis.

A replaceable tool is provided, including: a main body, including a connecting hole extending along a first axis; a control member, inserted within the main body and including a detent member, being movable between a locked position and a release position along a second axis lateral to the first axis; wherein when the control member is located in the locked position, the detent member radially protrudes within the connecting hole; when the control member moves from the locked position to the release position, the detent member is away from the first axis.
