Movable Livestock Grazing Enclosure
A movable livestock grazing enclosure is disclosed for regenerative grazing in agriculture. An example movable livestock grazing enclosure may include a front boom, and a first side boom and a second side boom both attached to the front boom to form a contained grazing paddock. The movable livestock grazing enclosure may also include a trough on at least one of the front boom, the first side boom, and the second side boom. The trough provides at least one of water, food, and food supplements for livestock. The movable livestock grazing enclosure may also include a head unit attached to the front boom. The head unit is configured to move the contained grazing paddock to a predetermined location for grazing the livestock within the contained grazing paddock. In an example, the head unit is at least partly automated.
Transport trailer with deployable corral
A deployable corral system for a transport trailer, such as a livestock trailer, provides a readily deployable corral along the trailer, and is readily stowable along the trailer in a retracted configuration for travel. The corral includes a pair of spaced-apart and pivotably-extendable corral rails with a cross-rail extending between distal ends of the extendable corral rails. When the extendable corral rails are extended the cross-rail is spaced from an exterior side of the livestock trailer, and when the extendable corral rails are retracted the cross-rail is positioned near a roof of the trailer. A drive system is operable to move the extendable corral rails between the extended and retracted positions. Optionally, the drive system is powered by motors associated with linear or rotary actuators. Further options may include storage bins along the cross-rail, a deployable shade awning, and a deployable trough.
PORTABLE CORRAL POWER FOLD
The instant invention provides systems and methods for powered folding and unfolding of panels for a portable corral. An exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes interconnected fence panels, a motor, a drive wheel, hydraulic and/or electrical lines, controls, and a power unit. Generally, the motors and drive wheels are connected to the folded panels and are utilized to unfold said panels to deploy the corral without the need for the operator to physically move the panels. Also included is a lift system for lifting the corral up for transport and lowering the corral to the ground for deployment.
Portable corral suspension with torsion axle
A portable livestock corral is configured to be operably attached to a vehicle for advancement in a forward direction. The portable livestock corral broadly includes a wheeled chassis and opposed sets of corral panels. The wheeled chassis includes an elongated corral frame and a pair of ground-engaging transport wheels shiftable relative to the corral frame and operable to support the corral frame above ground. The opposed sets of corral panels are removably supported on the corral frame and are configured to be advanced with the corral frame in the forward direction by the vehicle. The wheeled chassis further includes a pair of spindles rotatably receiving the pair of transport wheels and a suspension. The suspension is configured to shiftably support the spindles and transport wheels relative to the corral frame. The suspension includes a torsion assembly with a pivotal torsion arm attached relative to at least one of the pair of spindles, with part of the torsion assembly configured to resiliently flex to permit shifting of the torsion arm and the transport wheels.
TOOL-LESS RELEASE ANIMAL SAFETY BARRIERS
Apparatus and methods disclosed herein relate to modular safety barrier panels with individually releasable barrier members. The barrier panel may, for example, include horizontal rails. The rails may, for example, each include a respective array of spatially distributed apertures. An array of barrier members may, for example, each be disposed through a corresponding aperture in the upper rail and into a corresponding aperture in the lower rail. One or more of the barrier members may, for example, also pass through an aperture of at least one coupling member. A selectively operated closure member may, in a locked mode, prevent removal of the barrier member out of the apertures. Various embodiments may advantageously provide rapid and tool-less assembly of a modular fence panel for livestock and/or release of one or more members of the modular fence panel.
Portable gate
A portable gate including a center gate section, a center divide gate, a first end divide gate, a second end divide gate, a first end gate, and a second end gate. If the portable gate is located in a building, the portable gate will also include a wall mounted gate. If the portable gate is located in an area bounded by a fence, a fence mounted gate replaces the wall mounted gate. The gates may be hingedly moved to form four holding pens. When the gates are folded so as to be positioned adjacent the inner and outer sides of the center section, a front-end loader may move the portable gate to another location. The opposite ends of the center gate section are provided with double-knuckle hinge joints.
METHOD, SYSTEM AND APPARATUS FOR GRAZING LIVESTOCK AND FARMING ROW CROPS IN A FIELD
In one or more arrangements, a sweep system for livestock grazing is provided to facilitate movement of livestock when an enclosure is moved. The system includes a frame having a front end, a rear end, and opposing sides. The system has one or more wheel assemblies attached to the frame to facilitate movement of the frame along the ground. The system includes a sweep mechanism connected to the frame that facilitates movement of the livestock.
Frame for portable panel assembly
A portable livestock corral is configured to be operably attached to a vehicle for advancement in a forward direction. The portable livestock corral includes a wheeled chassis and opposed sets of corral panels. The wheeled chassis includes an elongated corral frame and a ground-engaging transport wheel operable to support the corral frame above ground. The corral frame includes a spine extending longitudinally along the forward direction and at least partly defining opposed storage areas to receive corresponding corral panels, with the transport wheel being longitudinally spaced from the storage areas. The corral panels are positioned to extend longitudinally along respective sides of the spine in a stored condition.
Mobile, Remotely Controlled Animal Trap System
A portable, trapping system for capturing and non-lethally retaining a large number of large animals, such as wild horses or feral hogs. A specialized trailer aligns and secures deployable corral components for transportation. The corral comprises a modular fence erected on-site from multiple fence panels that are hinged together by pinning. The fence panels are configured with voids to prevent animal climbing. A circuit controlling a video camera communicates via cellular phone or satellite to remote locations for user-observation and trap control. A gate with a remotely actuated trap door is pinned between adjacent fence panels. The gate comprises a catch controlled by a circuit operated latch for remotely releasing the trap door via cell phone or Internet. A trailer with upper and lower aligned ceiling and floor channels constrains panels for transportation.
