GAMING SERVICE AUTOMATION SYSTEM WITH GRAPHICAL USER INTERFACE
A robot management system (RMS) includes a plurality of service robots deployed within an operations venue that includes a plurality of gaming devices, an operator terminal presenting a graphical user interface (GUI) to an operator, and a robot management system server (RMS server) configured in networked communication with the plurality of service robots. The RMS server is configured to: identify location data for the service robots; create an interactive overlay map of the operations venue that includes a static map of the operations venue, overlay data showing the location data of the plurality of service robots over the static map, and an interactive icon for each service robot of the plurality of service robots; display, via the GUI, the overlay map; receive a first input indicating a selection of a first interactive icon associated with a first service robot; and display current status information associated with the first service robot.
Cantilevered x-ray CT system for multi-axis imaging
A multi-axis imaging system comprising an imaging gantry with an imaging axis extending through a bore of the imaging gantry, a support column that supports the imaging gantry on one side of the gantry in a cantilevered manner, and a base that supports the imaging gantry and the support column. The imaging system including a first drive mechanism that translates the gantry in a vertical direction relative to the support column and the base, a second drive mechanism that rotates the gantry with respect to the support column between a first orientation where the imaging axis of the imaging gantry extends in a vertical direction parallel to the support column and a second orientation where the imaging axis of the gantry extends in a horizontal direction parallel with the base, and a third drive mechanism that translates the support column and the gantry in a horizontal direction along the base.
SENSOR ARRANGEMENT AND METHOD FOR SAFEGUARDING A MONITORED ZONE
The invention relates to a sensor arrangement and to a method for safeguarding a monitored zone at a machine. The sensor arrangement comprises a camera continuously generating 3D images, a control and evaluation unit for the position detection of objects in the monitored zone and, in the case of a hazardous position, initiating a safety-directed response of the machine, with a buffer memory unit being provided for storing last recorded images and with a 3D reference map being prepared from the stored images when the safety-directed response was initiated, a voxel identification unit being provided for flagging those voxels in the current 3D image whose coordinates differ by a specified distance from those of the corresponding voxels of the reference map, a movement recognition unit being provided in which the voxels thus identified are examined as to whether they display position changes that are above a fixed threshold in the course of a fixed number of further current images, and independently thereof, a restart signal for the machine being able to be output at an output.
Collaborative Robot Cutting System and Method
A collaborative robot cutting system for the assembly, construction, fabrication, and/or the completion of structural components for manufactured assemblies. A method of preparing work pieces and materials for further manufacturing operations employing the intuitive graphical interactive programming features of a robot cutting system user interface to enhance productivity and versatility in high mix, low volume fabrication environments with minimal operator training.
Method and device for controlling a great number of robots to emergently stop
A method and a device for controlling a number of robots to emergency stop are provided. The method includes arranging multiple position points in a site where robots work and position identifiers corresponding to the position points, and providing corresponding recognizers at bottoms of the robots; when fault signals reported by the robots are detected, determining, according to the fault signals, whether all the robots in the site need to be controlled to emergency stop, wherein if yes, according to current positions and moving speeds of the robots, position points in the site are allocated to the robots as respective emergency stop positions, the robots are controlled to move to the corresponding emergency stop positions, and thereafter the robots are controlled to stop movement. The device comprises a configuration module, a determination module, an allocation module and a control module.
Method And a Device for Picking and Placing Items
A method for picking and placing items includes the steps of: providing a picking conveyor transporting items to be picked; providing a placing conveyor to which the items are to be placed; and providing a plurality of robots configured to move the items from pick positions on the picking conveyor to place positions on the placing conveyor. For at least one of the plurality of robots there is defined an actual work area A.sub.ac that fulfils the condition A.sub.ac<A.sub.th−(A.sub.ol+A.sub.ex), wherein A.sub.th is a theoretical work area, A.sub.ol is an overlapping work area and A.sub.ex is an excessive work area of the respective robot. By limiting the actual work area A.sub.ac of the robots more than what is done conventionally, the total workload between the robots in pick and place systems may be balanced.
ROBOT SAFETY MONITORING SYSTEM
A robot safety monitoring system includes a stereo camera set configured to photograph a robot and a monitoring area around the robot and a processor connected to the stereo camera set. The stereo camera set includes a first camera including a plurality of first camera modules spaced apart from each other, and a second camera including a plurality of second camera modules spaced apart from each other. Based on a first direction, the first camera and the second camera have different fields of view. The processor is configured to set the monitoring area, determine whether an object is present in the monitoring area, and control the robot based on determining that an object is present in the monitoring area.
Transfer device and transfer method
The present application provides a transfer device and a transfer method. The transfer device includes: a frame; a module transfer arm, arranged above the frame and with a number of at least one; a pre-inspection station, arranged on the frame at an initial placement position in a conveying direction of the module transfer arm, and configured to place thereon a target object to be inspected; a post-inspection station, arranged on the frame at a finish-placement position in the conveying direction of the module transfer arm, and configured to place thereon the target object after being inspected; an inspection station, respectively arranged on the frame and between the pre-inspection station and the post-inspection station, and configured to place thereon and inspect the target object; a feed mechanism.
