PRODUCT STACKING END OF ARM TOOL
20220331991 · 2022-10-20 ·

Systems and methods used to pick and stack product for transport are disclosed. The systems and methods include a robotic end of arm stacking tool coupled to a robotic arm and including a product support. The product support includes fingers that pivot about an axis to allow spatulas coupled to the fingers to slide under and support the product when the product is picked from a product orienting member and stacked in a product transport member. An actuator can be activated to maintain the product support in a product support state and deactivated to release the product into the product transport member.

The end effector also comprises a second ultrasonic-sensor roller that is rotatable relative to the support and located between the first ultrasonic-sensor roller and the second nozzle.

MULTI-MODE ROBOTIC END EFFECTOR

An end effector is disclosed. The end effector includes a first grasping mechanism for grasping at least one first object when the robotic end effector is operated in a first mode and a second grasping mechanism for grasping a second object when the robotic end effector is operated in a second mode. The second grasping mechanism is robotically positioned in an inactive state when the robotic end effector is controlled to operate in the first mode.

ROBOTS AND METHODS FOR PROTECTING FRAGILE COMPONENTS THEREOF
20230150135 · 2023-05-18 ·

The present disclosure relates to protecting fragile members of robots from damage during fall events. In response to detecting a fall event, a fragile member of a robot can be actuated to a defensive configuration to avoid or reduce damage. An actuatable protective member can be actuated to protect a fragile member to avoid or reduce damage to the fragile member. Actuatable protective members can be dedicated protective members, or can be other members of the robot which serve different functionality outside of a fall event but act as a protective member during a fall event.

HANDLING SYSTEM FOR GROUND-ENGAGING WEAR PARTS SECURED TO EARTH WORKING EQUIPMENT

A handling system for handling ground-engaging wear parts used on earth working equipment includes handling tools to remove and handle wear parts from equipment and/or to install new wear parts. The tools can include a torque or other tool to engage and/or disengage a lock retained by the wear member. The handling system allows an operator maintain a distance from heavy parts being removed or installed, reducing the risk of injury.

ROBOT AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

Provide is a robot and a control method thereof in which the motion of an arm 12 as a specified limb among a plurality of limbs 12 and 14 extended from a body 10 is controlled according to a specified trajectory. If a first interaction state, in which a hand 126, which is an end effector, interacts with a horizontal wood member L (j) of a ladder L in a first mode is implemented, then a control command is given to an actuator 41 that drives the hand 126 to cause the hand 126 to perform a grasping motion, thereby implementing a second interaction state, in which the hand 126 interacts with the horizontal wood member L (j) in a second manner. If the second interaction state is implemented, a control command is given to a brake 42 to maintain a motion halt state of the hand 126.
