A swing arm assembly is provided for a spot welding machine. The swing arm assembly can accommodate a tip dresser or a tip exchanger and can include a shifter that can translate the tip dresser from a first position to a second position along a lateral axis.
SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING ROBOTIC END EFFECTORS
A robotic manipulator comprises: a robotic stand; an articulated robotic arm mounted on said robotic stand; said robotic arm comprising a chain of articulated members, said chain comprises proximal and distal members at ends thereof, an end effector connectable to said distal member; said end effector comprising at least one element of the group consisting of an actuator, a sensor, a contact switch and any combination thereof, a control module further comprising a control circuit, a valve manifold and an electronic signal junction; said control circuit configured for controlling said at valve manifold and electronic signal circuitry and managing said at least one actuator therethrough. The control module is mounted on said robotic stand and provided with a mounting seat configured for securing said proximal terminal of said robotic arm to said control module.
Medical instrument holding apparatus
A medical instrument holding apparatus includes a shaft slidably engaged into a housing and movable into and out of the housing, the housing includes a guiding member engaged with the shaft for guiding and limiting the shaft to slide relative to the housing only and for preventing the shaft from being rotated relative to the housing, a locking device is engaged onto the shaft and includes a positioning member for engaging with an anchoring member of the shaft and for locking the shaft and the housing together, and one or more fasteners are engaged with the housing and the locking device for securing the shaft and the housing together with the locking device.
QUICK CHANGE ACCESSORY FOR MANIPULATING OBJECTS AND RELATED METHODS
A quick change accessory for manipulating an object, such as a food item, is disclosed. The quick change accessory includes a flipper assembly, an accessory for engaging the object, and a mounting block adapted to form a quick change engagement with the accessory. The accessory, which may be a spatula, includes a recess for receiving a locator projection of the mounting block as the accessory is being guided into a receiver of the mounting block. A releasable locking engagement is formed by a fastener associated with the mounting block being urged into a corresponding aperture of the accessory, thus holding the accessory in a fixed position during flipping of the object. The fastener may include a detent associated with a screw body including a spring. In other embodiments, the fastener includes a pin associated with a captured spring.
WRIST DEVICE AND JOINT DEVICE
A wrist device according to one aspect of the present disclosure is mounted on a distal end of a robot arm. The wrist device is provided with a flange including a mounting plate for mounting an external device and a base for rotatably supporting the flange. In the mounting plate, a hole for connecting a tube joint disposed outside the wrist device and a tube joint disposed inside the wrist device is formed.
BRACKET, ROBOT, WELDING DEVICE, AND ROBOT SYSTEM
A bracket that includes a bracket body that is attached to a tool attachment surface of an arm member with an insulating plate therebetween, insulation members that electrically insulate bracket fixing implements and fix the bracket body to the tool attachment surface from the inside and the bracket body from each other, and an insulating cover that has electrical insulation properties and that is disposed inside the bracket body. Each of the bracket body, the insulating plate, and the insulating cover has a hollow hole through which an umbilical member is passed into an interior of the bracket body from inside the arm member. The bracket fixing implements include bolts that are fastened to screw holes in the tool attachment surface. The insulating cover covers a gap between the hollow hole of the bracket body and the umbilical member and is fixed to the bracket body by the bolts.
Tool interface and robot with such a tool interface
A tool interface for coupling a tool to a robot. The tool interface has an abutment face for abutting a corresponding abutment face of the tool, and a coupling device for mechanically coupling the tool to the tool interface. A discharge device is provided for producing a discharge air flow in the region of the abutment face. The discharge device has a plurality of nozzle openings for discharging the discharge air flow, and the nozzle openings are supplied with compressed air by a common compressed air connection of the tool interface.
DISASSEMBLABLE SUCTION BOX FOR A GRIPPER
The suction box for a gripper includes first and second parts, one of the parts being intended to be coupled to at least one contact member of the gripper, the contact member being intended to come into contact with at least one object to be seized by the gripper, and the other of the parts being intended to be in fluidic communication with a vacuum generator, the suction box being configured to selectively adopt an assembled configuration in which a mechanical connection is established between the parts or a disassembled configuration in which the mechanical connection is cancelled. In the assembled configuration and in the disassembled configuration, the first part delimits an indentation. In the assembled configuration, the indentation participates in delimiting the suction cavity of the suction box. The suction box includes a seal which, in the assembled configuration, is interposed between the first and second parts.
Tool changer for a robot and changing system therefor
The invention relates to a tool changer for a robot, including a base unit, a changing unit, which can be locked on the base unit, movable locking elements, which are provided on the base unit, receptacles, which are provided on the changing unit, the locking elements interacting, in a locking position, with the receptacles in order to lock the changing unit on the base unit and releasing, in an unlocking position, the receptacles, and a rotary element, which is provided on the base unit and is mounted for rotation about the longitudinal axis of the rotary element, the locking elements being movement-coupled to the rotary element in such a way that the locking elements are moved when the rotary element is rotated.
ROBOTIC SURGICAL TOOL WITH REPLACEABLE CARRIAGE
A surgical tool includes a stage portion that includes opposing first and second ends, a lead screw and at least one spline that extend between the first and second ends, and a first layer of a carriage movably mounted to the lead screw and the at least one spline. An instrument portion is releasably coupled to the stage portion and includes one or more additional layers of the carriage removably coupled to the first layer, and an elongate shaft extending distally from the one or more additional layers and having an end effector arranged at a distal end of the elongate shaft.
