ELECTRIC APPARATUS MOUNTING DEVICE AND METHOD

This electric apparatus mounting device includes: a robot side contact jig which is provided to an end effector mounted to an arm of a robot and which has a robot side contact; and an electric apparatus side contact jig which is detachably provided to an electric apparatus and which has an electric apparatus side contact electrically connected with the electric apparatus. The robot side contact jig and the electric apparatus side contact jig are configured such that the robot side contact and the electric apparatus side contact are in a connection state in a state that the electric apparatus is held by the end effector. Thus, a work for conveying and mounting an electric apparatus such as a motor to a given position using a robot can be performed without hindrance.

A robot arm joint, a connector and a robot arm are disclosed. The robot arm joint has a joint body and a joint wire assembly. The joint body includes a fixing end and a transmission end. The joint wire assembly is arranged in the joint body and extends on a preset connection path. The preset connection path includes a straight path. The joint wire assembly includes a torsion section connected to the transmission end and a fixed section connected to the fixing end. When the transmission end rotates, the torsion section is simultaneously driven to twist on the straight path.

A tool interface for coupling a tool to a robot. The tool interface has an abutment face for abutting a corresponding abutment face of the tool, and a coupling device for mechanically coupling the tool to the tool interface. A discharge device is provided for producing a discharge air flow in the region of the abutment face. The discharge device has a plurality of nozzle openings for discharging the discharge air flow, and the nozzle openings are supplied with compressed air by a common compressed air connection of the tool interface.
