A POWER-ASSISTED FOLDING KNIFE
The present invention provides a power-assisted folding knife, comprising a handle, a blade, a locking mechanism, an assisting mechanism and a second assisting mechanism. The blade is rotatably connected to the handle. The locking mechanism and the second assisting mechanism are provided inside the handle. The assisting mechanism is connected to the handle and the blade respectively. When the blade is in a folded position, the assisting mechanism and the second assisting mechanism are used for locking or unlocking the blade. When the blade is in an unfolded position, the locking mechanism is used for locking or unlocking the blade. When the power-assisted folding knife is unfolded, the assisting mechanism and the second assisting mechanism provide assisting force for the blade and/or the handle.
MULTIFUNCTION FOLDABLE KNIFE
A knife is disclosed having a handle with first and second half handles, a blade containing portion for securing a blade and an opening in a top surface of handle and first and second ends to contain the blade in a folded closed position. The knife includes a hook portion on a posterior end of the blade and a cutting surface portion on an anterior end; a nut and bolt system passing through the blade near the posterior end and both half handles terminating at on outside portion of each half handle enabling the blade to rotate between open and closed positions. A spring bar is integrated in a central portion of the first half handle, attached to the first half handle at a posterior end and including a ball pin on an anterior end of the spring bar, the ball pin enabled to engage the blade in various positions.
FOLDING KNIFE WITH LOCKING MECHANISM
Folding knife embodiments are disclosed herein comprising a blade operable to pivot relative to a handle, between an open position and a closed position, about a pivot axis extending through a tang portion of the blade having at least one locking recess. The knife can have a locking mechanism comprising a rod that extends along the pivot axis through the tang portion and a locking member coupled to the rod which engages the at least one locking recess of the tang portion when the blade is in at least one of the open position or the closed position. The knife can further comprise a push button coupled to the rod, wherein depression of the push button is configured to eject the locking member from the locking recess in the blade, thereby unlocking the blade.
Folding knife
A folding knife includes first and second scales and a blade having a tang and a cutting edge. The tang pivotally connects the blade between the first and second scales. The blade has a retracted position with the cutting edge between the first and second scales and a deployed position with the cutting edge outside the first and second scales. An actuator between the first and second scales has a first position that locks the blade in the deployed position and a second position that allows movement of the blade between the deployed and retracted positions. A spring is in compression with the actuator between the first and second scales so that the spring biases the actuator toward the tang of the blade. A detent in the actuator engages with the tang when the actuator is in the first position and the blade is in the deployed position.
UTILITY KNIFE WITH ROTATING HEAD ASSEMBLY
A utility knife is disclosed having a body with a handle portion opposite a head portion and a head assembly received by the head portion of the body. The head assembly of the utility knife is configured to receive and secure a razor blade, wherein the head assembly is configured to pivot with respect to the body such that the razor blade forms an angle with respect to the body.
Folding utility knife
A folding utility knife comprises a handle, an angularly movable blade holder, blade holder locking mechanism and a cutting blade with a cutting edge and an opposite indexing edge having a first indexing notch, a second indexing notch and a third indexing notch. A blade locking mechanism has a locking pin for locking engagement with the first indexing notch, the second indexing notch, and the third indexing notch holds the cutting blade in a first blade position, a second blade position and a third blade position, respectively. The cutting blade is removable and rotatable 180 degrees for re-insertion into the blade holder whereat locking engagement of the locking pin with the third indexing notch, the second indexing notch, and the third indexing notch holds the cutting blade in a fourth blade position, a fifth blade position and a sixth blade position, respectively.
FOLDING MACHETE
A knife includes a blade defining an aperture and a handle. The handle includes a body pivotably coupled to the blade, a catch movably coupled to the body, and a biasing member coupled to the body. The catch includes a protrusion. The biasing member is configured to apply a biasing force on the catch. The handle is selectively repositionable between a first position and a second position relative to the blade. The biasing force biases the protrusion of the catch toward the blade when the handle is in the first position. The protrusion is received by the aperture to prevent rotation of the handle relative to the blade when the handle is in the first position.
BUTTON LOCK MECHANISM FOR FOLDING KNIVES
A locking folding knife includes a handle; a blade pivotally coupled to the handle, and moveable between a closed position and an open position; and a locking device movable between a locked position and an unlocked position along an axis generally perpendicular to a plane defined by the blade. A tang of the blade has a substantially planar locking surface, and the locking device has a corresponding substantially planar blade engagement surface. The locking device secures the blade in the open position when the locking device is in the locked position, the substantially planar blade engagement surface being abutted with the substantially planar locking surface. The locking also comprises an offset post providing the additional advantage of design flexibility.
