Hair Clipper with Improved Housing
A hair cutter with an improved handle is described. The handle includes a neck and upper and lower housings that together form a surface with a gripping portion. The handle extends longitudinally from a cutting end to a handle or gripping end opposite a blade assembly at the cutting end. The gripping portion of the handle facilitates gripping and/or handling the handle. The location of the griping portion and the size relative to the handle allows for improved grasping for users. The neck is configured to deflect hair and/or debris away from the hair cutter and includes a shape and size relative to the handle allowing for reduced weight compared to a standard hair shield.

Shaving and grooming apparatus
A shaving and grooming apparatus includes a handle and a cartridge attached to the handle. A plurality of upper blades are positioned in the cartridge, where at least some of the plurality of upper blades include curved tips with a curvature that sufficient to prevent the curved tips from contact a cutting surface during use. A plurality of lower blades is positioned adjacent to the plurality of upper blades in the cartridge, where at least some of the plurality of lower blades comprises curved tips with a curvature that sufficient to prevent the curved tips from contact a cutting surface during cutting. At least one of the plurality of upper and the plurality of lower blades has a thickness and flexibility that results in deflection during cutting that increases effectiveness of cutting action. A drive motor moves the plurality of upper blades relative to the plurality of lower blades.

ELECTRIC HANDHELD HAIR TRIMMER INCLUDING BLADE WITH BEVELED PORTIONS
A trimmer includes a blade assembly including a stationary blade and a movable blade. Each of the stationary blade and the movable blade includes blade teeth. The stationary blade includes a first transverse edge portion, a second transverse edge portion, and a middle portion. The first transverse edge portion includes a first upper surface extending from a first edge to the upper surface. The second transverse edge portion includes a second upper surface extending from a second edge to the upper surface. The first transverse edge portion and the second transverse edge portion are beveled from the middle portion to the respective edges of the stationary blade. The stationary blade is symmetric about a midline of the middle portion. In some embodiments, the trimmer includes a toothed blade guard.

Hair clippers with flexing electrically adjustable blades
A flex clipper provides a feature to help the cutting blade set float more effortlessly by adjusting automatically to the contours of a client's head to prevent getting stuck and causing cuts and irritation to the scalp. The hair clippers preferably also uses a self-contained motor-driven adjustment mechanism to adjust the relative position of the stationary and reciprocating blades of a common type of blade set. Two momentary switches operable by the thumb of the hand holding the clipper afford a barber total automatic adjustment with the clipper itself in an on or off condition.
Stationary blade, blade set, and manufacturing method
A stationary blade for a blade set of a hair cutting appliance includes a top wall, a bottom wall, and a guide slot formed between the top and bottom walls to accommodate a movable blade. The stationary blade further includes a plurality of stationary blade teeth each having a frontal end. The top and bottom walls are mutually joined at the frontal ends, where the top and bottom walls are, at least at the frontal ends, made from sheet metal material. Further, at the frontal ends, two or more sheet metal folded edges are present.

BLADE SET, HAIR CUTTING APPLIANCE, AND RELATED MANUFACTURING METHOD
A stationary blade for a blade set of a hair cutting appliance is described. The stationary blade is arranged to be moved through hair in a moving direction to cut hair. The stationary blade includes: a first wall portion arranged to serve as a skin facing wall when in operation; a second wall portion at least partially offset from the first wall portion; and at least one toothed leading edge comprising a plurality of teeth and being jointly provided by the first wall portion and the second wall portion. The first wall portion and the second wall portion are connected at a frontal end of the at least one toothed leading edge to provide tips of the teeth. A blade set including the stationary blade and a moveable cutting blade are also described. A method of fabricating a blade set is also described.
