Blade Assembly Having Entrapped Spring
A blade assembly for a hair cutting apparatus includes a first blade having teeth extending along a first blade edge, and a second blade having teeth extending along a second blade edge. A distance between the first and second blade edges defines a blade gap. A yoke is coupled to the second blade and configured to convert motion of a drive into reciprocation of the second blade relative to the first blade to cut hair. A spring includes a spring base and at least one spring arm configured to reciprocate with the second blade. A guide assembly includes a guide and a spring retainer, the guide being positioned between the first blade and the second blade, and the spring retainer fixing the spring base relative to the first blade, wherein in response to moving the guide relative to the first blade, the blade gap changes.

DEPILATORY DEVICE
The present disclosure provides a depilatory device capable of further improving opening and closing operability of a lid part while moving a head part relative to a body. The depilatory device according to the present disclosure includes a body, and head part that includes a blade part which is configured to cut hair and supported by the body in a state where the head part is reciprocatable relative to the body in a first direction. Head part includes head housing provided inside with a space, and head housing comprises an opening window communicating with the space. Additionally, a lid part that is openable and configured to cover the opening window is attached to head housing. The lid part has an opening and closing direction intersecting trajectory drawn by the lid part when head part is reciprocated relative to the body in the first direction.
PERSONAL CARE DEVICES AND COMPONENTS
In certain embodiments, a personal care device can include a housing, a functional assembly attached to the housing, a motor disposed within the housing and operatively connected to the functional assembly to move one or more components of the functional assembly, and a switch configured to move between at least two states.

STATIONARY BLADE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD
A method of manufacturing a stationary blade. A metal component is provided, and a first bending procedure is applied, forming a top wall and two legs at opposite ends of the top wall that are spaced away from one another longitudinally. Each of the two legs is arranged at a first angle with respect to the top wall, and two bending edges are formed between the top wall and the two legs. A support insert is also provided having a longitudinal extension that is at least slightly greater than a receiving space between the two bending edges. The metal component and support insert are joined, and a second bending procedure is applied to the metal component, where the two legs are further bent, thereby arranging each of the two legs at a second angle with respect to the top wall that is smaller than the first angle.
ATTACHMENT COMB, CUTTING HEAD AND HAIR CUTTING APPLIANCE
An attachment comb, particularly a skin protecting comb, for a blade set of a cutting head of a hair cutting appliance, the attachment comb including a supporting frame and comb teeth that are arranged in a series and that define a skin contact zone at a top side thereof. The teeth extend from the supporting frame and include rounded tips at frontal ends thereof. Additionally, the teeth are non-uniform along the series and include two outer lateral teeth that define lateral ends of the series, along with central teeth arranged therebetween. At the lateral teeth, a lateral teeth tip radius (R.sub.tl) is present that is greater than a tip radius (R.sub.tc) of the central teeth. Also described herein is corresponding a cutting head and hair cutting appliance.
Hair clipper comprising a comb
This application concerns a comb (200) for a hair clipper comprising a comb portion (208) comprising a plurality of comb teeth (216) having slots formed there between for guiding hairs to a cutting element of the hair clipper. The comb portion may be configured such that, when the comb is attached to the hair clipper, a substantially wedge-shaped hair debris-receiving space is formed between the housing and the comb portion into which hair debris can flow. The comb teeth may comprise an extension portion (230) which extends generally forwardly away from the respective comb tooth in a cutting movement direction such that a connecting bar is spaced apart from a housing of the hair clipper by a greater distance than the plurality of comb teeth.
