A curved trimming profile shaped to border a portion of the ear forms a channel for an electric clippers attachment to follow and trim hair around the ear. The trimming profile has two portions that clamp over the hair. Each portion has a track, and the tracks form the profile channel when the portions are clamped together. Teeth between the portions hold the hair in place. The attachment has a channel guide for engaging with the profile channel and a groove which allows clipper blades to trim hair as the clippers travel. The rest of the clipper blades are blocked by the attachment.

Embodiments of positioning systems and methods for use with grooming systems are disclosed herein. One embodiment of a grooming system comprises a moveable grooming device; a positioning device, and a system interface for determining positioning of the moveable grooming device relative to the positioning device. The positioning device comprises a frame having a front, a first side, and a second side; a plurality of frame supports; and a plurality of positioning interfaces. The moveable grooming device comprises at least one sensor for interfacing with the plurality of positioning interfaces. The system interface is configured to interface the plurality of positioning interfaces with the at least one positioning sensor to establish an origin position of the at least one sensor and moveable grooming device; compute a plurality of positioning ranges; and select at least two positioning ranges for calibrating one or more positions of the moveable grooming device.

The present invention relates to electric shavers, handpieces of such shavers and a method of manufacturing such electric shavers. More particularly, the present invention relates to a shaver set comprising a plurality of electric shavers.

The invention refers to an electric shaver with a first cutter element and a second cutter element which are movable relative to each other in an oscillating manner along a first horizontal cutter oscillation axis. Each cutter unit is mounted in the cartridge pivotably about a second horizontal tilting axis and axially displaceably parallel to a vertical axis. The first horizontal cutter oscillation axis is perpendicular to the vertical axis and perpendicular to the second horizontal tilting axis.

The invention refers to an electric shaver comprising a shaver housing, a shaver head and at least one cartridge mounted in or on said shaver housing. The adaption of the cutter element to the contour of the skin to be shaved is improved by permitting at least one additional movement of the at least one cutter unit relative to the shaver head.

A grooming-assisting device that replaceably attaches around the neck of a user, replaceably attaches to a mirror used by the user, and captures facial hair clipped from the user for disposal. The grooming-assisting device includes a substrate, a first attaching apparatus, and a second attaching apparatus. The substrate captures the facial hair clipped from the user for disposal. The first attaching apparatus extends from the substrate, and replaceably attaches the substrate around the neck of the user. The second attaching apparatus extends from the substrate, and replaceably attaches the substrate to the mirror used by the user.

In some preferred embodiments, the present invention provides an improved system and apparatus for cleaning the clipper blades at an intermediate step of hair cutting, to avoid hindrance of the hair sticking the blades. This ensures better handling and operation of the hair cutting tools. The apparatus can be removably worn any of the fingers of the Barber, as per the comfort and ease of operations felt by him. The invention suggests a cleaning barber brush apparatus that is conveniently adjusted to be worn in different fingers of different sizes, using elastic and rubber holding means.

A grooming-assisting device that replaceably attaches around the neck of a user, replaceably attaches to a mirror used by the user, and captures facial hair clipped from the user for disposal. The grooming-assisting device includes a substrate, a first attaching apparatus, and a second attaching apparatus. The substrate captures the facial hair clipped from the user for disposal. The first attaching apparatus extends from the substrate, and replaceably attaches the substrate around the neck of the user. The second attaching apparatus extends from the substrate, and replaceably attaches the substrate to the mirror used by the user.

An adjusting device for adjusting a blade of a hair trimmer where the blade of the hair trimmer has a dynamic cutter blade and a static comb blade. The adjusting device comprises a base, an adjuster pivotably connected to the base, a locator for locating the blade and a biasing means for biasing the blade against the adjuster. The adjuster has a comb-contacting face at a first radial distance from its rotation axis while a cutter-adjusting face is at a second radial distance from the rotation axis, the second radial distance being larger than the first radial distance. By rotating the adjuster, a clearance is created between the cutter blade and the comb blade.

An example electric shaver head is provided. The electric shaver head includes a shaver head housing, and at least one cutter assembly disposed in the shaver head housing. The electric shaver head includes two or more spacer elements positioned over the cutter assembly. The two or more spacer elements provide an offset distance from a top surface of the at least one cutter assembly to create stubble when shaving.
