Electric shaver with imaging capability
System and method for improving the shaving experience by providing improved visibility of the skin shaving area. A digital camera is integrated with the electric shaver for close image capturing of shaving area, and displaying it on a display unit. The display unit can be integral part of the electric shaver casing, or housed in a separated device which receives the image via a communication channel. The communication channel can be wireless (using radio, audio or light) or wired, such as dedicated cabling or using powerline communication. A light source is used to better illuminate the shaving area. Video compression and digital image processing techniques are used for providing for improved shaving results. The wired communication medium can simultaneously be used also for carrying power from the electric shaver assembly to the display unit, or from the display unit to the electric shaver.

Actuator and electric beautifying device
An actuator has: an affixed section having a coil; a first mobile section that is elastically held and disposed so as to allow movement in the axial direction inside one end of the coil, and has a first magnet magnetized in the axial direction of the coil and disposed on one end in the axial direction; and a second mobile section that is elastically held and disposed so as to allow movement in the axial direction inside another end of the coil, and has a second magnet magnetized in the axial direction and disposed on the other end in the axial direction. The first and second magnets are disposed such that identical magnetic poles are in the same direction in the axial direction, and the first and second mobile sections move in opposite directions along the same axis when a current is applied to the coil.
Electrical appliance for performing a cutting action on hairs as present on an area of skin
An electrical appliance for performing a cutting action on hairs present on an area of skin (7) comprises at least one assembly of a driven internal cutting member (5) for cutting off the hairs and an external cutting member (6) which serves for contacting the area of skin (7) and also for covering and contacting the internal cutting member (5). The cutting members (5, 6) are designed such that friction between them is related to their condition of wear in a predetermined way. Information relating to an actual condition of wear of the cutting members (5, 6) is determined by measuring a parameter related to the friction between the cutting members (5, 6) and processing the parameter, and such information is indicated to a user of the appliance.
A FRAME UNIT
There is provided a frame unit (10, 30, 60, 70) for use in a hair clipping system. The frame unit comprises a frame (110, 310, 610, 710); a first ear portion (120, 320, 620, 720) for supporting the frame at the first ear of the subject; at least one of a nose portion (140, 340, 640, 740) for supporting the frame on the nose of the subject and a second ear portion (130, 330, 630) for supporting the frame at the second ear of the subject. The frame interconnects the first ear portion and the at least one of the nose portion and the second ear portion. Also, the frame extends below a line interconnecting the first ear portion and the at least one of the nose portion and the second ear portion while in use on a subject so as to enable access to the side of the face of the subject by a hair clipping unit.

A hair trimming device arranged to detect positions of the hair trimming device in relation to a client's head and to adjust its trimming length automatically and dynamically according to preprogrammed values at any given point during a hair trimming session.
HAIR REMOVAL APPARATUS
A hair-removal apparatus is provided that comprises a hair-removal device with a movable hair-removal component, which comprises at least a first hair-contacting member and a second hair-contacting member, which are movable relative to each other and which are configured and arranged to mutually co-operate for removing hairs by mutually exerting a contact force, a pressing component configured and arranged to generate said contact force by exerting a pressing force on the movable hair-removal component during operation, a skin proximity sensing component, and a force adjusting component. The skin proximity sensing component is configured and arranged to detect a relative distance between the movable hair-removal component and a portion of the skin with hairs to be removed. The force adjusting component is configured and arranged to adjust, during operation, the pressing force exerted by the pressing component in dependence on the relative distance detected by the skin proximity sensing component.

An intelligent head cover includes: multiple sensors, a hairstyle processing component and a controller; where the multiple sensors are configured to acquire sensory data related to a user, the controller is configured to control the hairstyle processing component to perform a hairstyle processing action based on a control instruction. The control instruction is generated based on the sensory data.
