Razor handle with movable members and a benefit delivery system
A handle for a shaving razor in which the handle comprises a frame and a movable member assembly operably coupled to the frame such that the frame is disposed between the movable member assembly and where the movable member assembly portions are configured to move both above and below the frame. The movement can be linear or rotational. The movable member assembly comprises one or more springs. A razor handle includes a rigid member, a first member having one or more movable elements wherein a portion of the first member is connected to a first surface of the rigid member, a second member, the second member coupled to a second surface of the rigid member wherein a benefit delivery assembly is disposed in an area between the rigid member and the second member.
Cartridge connector and razor assembly using the same
A razor assembly includes a razor cartridge including at least one shaving blade and a blade housing configured to receive the at least one shaving blade such that the at least one shaving blade extends in a first direction corresponding to a width direction of the razor cartridge. The razor assembly includes a cartridge connector coupled to the razor cartridge such that the razor cartridge is rotatable with respect to the cartridge connector about a rotational axis parallel to the first direction, the cartridge connector including at least two first cantilevers and at least one second cantilever. The razor assembly includes a razor handle coupled to the cartridge connector. The razor cartridge is configured such that when the razor cartridge rotates with respect to the cartridge connector, the two first cantilevers contact one side of the razor cartridge, and the second cantilever does not contact the razor cartridge.
Shaving device with pivotable liquid flow manifold
A handle for a shaving device including a main portion; a nozzle for introducing a liquid into a cavity within the main portion; and at least one liquid conduit portion that is in fluid communication with the cavity. Additionally, the handle also includes a liquid dispensing manifold with at least one liquid inlet that is in fluid communication with the liquid conduit portion, wherein the liquid dispensing manifold includes at least one liquid outlet, and further wherein the at least one liquid outlet is in fluid communication with the at least one liquid inlet. Finally, the handle also preferably includes: a first cartridge connecting mechanism that is configured and arranged to be connected with a handle receiving portion provided on a blade cartridge; and a second cartridge connecting mechanism that is configured and arranged to be connected with a manifold receiving portion provided on a blade cartridge.
HANDLE ASSEMBLY AND CARTRIDGE, AND RAZOR INCLUDING SAME
A cartridge is comprising: at least one blade; a frame supporting the at least one blade so that the at least one blade can be exposed at a front and configured to receive the at least one blade in a longitudinal direction; a first guard member disposed in front of the at least one blade and configured to align hair entering the at least one blade; a second guard member disposed in front of the first guard member; and an opening formed between the first guard member and the second guard member and configured to penetrate the frame in a direction from the front to a rear, wherein a width of the opening in a lateral direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, is greater than a half of a width in a lateral direction defined by all of the at least one blade.
Razor cartridges
Replaceable shaving assemblies are disclosed that include a razor cartridge comprising: an elongated housing defining a central open area, and, adjacent each short edge of the housing, a clip-receiving aperture and a clip-receiving channel; a plurality of blades disposed within the open area of the housing, and a pair of clips, each clip having a first leg and a second leg, the first leg extending through the clip-receiving aperture and being bent against a lower surface of the housing, and the second leg being wrapped around the housing and seated in the clip-receiving channel. Shaving systems including such shaving assemblies are also disclosed, as are methods of using such shaving systems and methods of manufacturing these cartridges.
Multi-blade shaving razor
A razor head for shaving is provided. The razor head includes a plurality of blades movably mounted within a support and a plurality of resilient members, wherein each blades of the plurality of blades is biased toward a shaving plane, at least in part, by at least one of the plurality of resilient members, and wherein at least one of the plurality of blades is biased toward the shaving plane with a first force that is greater than a second force biasing another of the plurality of blades toward the shaving plane.
Razor and razor handle with rotational portion
A razor handle for mounting a razor cartridge having at least one razor blade, which cartridge is pivotable about a cartridge pivot axis, is provided. The razor handle includes a grip portion, a cartridge mount portion, at least one biasing element, and a lock mechanism. The cartridge mount portion is pivotally attached to the grip portion and is rotatable about a cartridge mount pivot axis. The cartridge mount pivot axis is substantially parallel to the cartridge pivot axis. The at least one biasing element is configured to apply a biasing force against the cartridge mount portion that biases the cartridge mount portion in the normal first position. The lock mechanism is selectively translatable between a lock position and at least one unlocked position.
Handle for a shaver enabling rotational movement of a cartridge
A handle for a shaver includes a handle body extending along a longitudinal axis of the handle; a connector for attaching a cartridge to the handle rotatable with respect to the handle body around a rotational axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis; and an elastic tongue extending parallel with the longitudinal axis of the handle, when in a neutral position. The connector includes a cartridge end and a tongue end opposite to the cartridge end, the cartridge end of the connector being adapted to engage with the cartridge. The elastic tongue includes a first end and a second end. The first end of the elastic tongue is fixedly attached to or integral with the handle body. As the connector rotates the second end flexes towards a first extreme flexed position or a second extreme flexed position, the flexed elastic tongue biases the connector towards the rest position.
Adjustable shaving blade assembly and razor
A shaving blade assembly (10) comprises a plurality of parallel blades (20) including a first blade (20) and a first rack-and-pinion mechanism (50) with a rack (51) coupled to the first blade (20) to actuate the first blade (20) in a first direction (M) orthogonal to a cutting edge (21) of the first blade (20). The shaving blade assembly (10) may be part of a razor (100,100′) and the position of the first blade (20) may be adjusted in the first direction (M) using a method comprising a step of actuating the first blade (20) in the first direction (M) through the rack-and-pinion mechanism (50).
