Shaving apparatus
A shaving apparatus is provided for shaving hair on a skin surface. The shaving apparatus includes a shaver head having at least one first blade configured to shave hair on a skin surface during displacement of the shaving head in a first direction along the skin surface, and at least one second blade configured to shave hair on the skin surface during displacement of the shaver head in a second direction along the skin surface; and a drive configured to reciprocally slide the first and second blades in an alternating motion between the first direction and the second direction thereby allowing a bi-directionally shaving hair on the skin surface.

HAIR CUTTING ASSEMBLY AND ASSOCIATED METHOD
A hair cutter has a base comb with a plurality of base teeth and a supporting comb spaced from said base comb having a plurality of elongated supporting teeth extending to a lesser extent than the base teeth. A cutter blade, which may be adjustable, is secured on the supporting comb side of the base comb in spaced relationship with respect to the base comb with a cutting edge extending in the first direction to a greater extent than the supporting teeth, but to a lesser extent than the base teeth. The hair cutter is structured to have the base teeth and support teeth engaging a portion of the body with progressive movement of the hair cutter serving to effect cutting of the hair to the desired length. The cutter blade may be caused to vibrate by a suitable vibrating motor energized by a battery.
Reciprocating razor having blades coupled by linkages that bend around stationary pivot points
A shaving razor. A first and second blade assembly each have a cutting edge oriented to shave in the same direction. The first and second blade assemblies are each displaceable along a respective first and second path substantially parallel to their cutting edge. First and second linkages couple together a first ends and second ends respectively of the first and second blade assembly. Stationary element provide pivot points around which the linkages bend. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.

Shaving razor with one or more reciprocating blades
A shaving razor having a handle and a shaving head with an exposed reciprocating blade. A power source is disposed within the handle with an actuator that causes at least one blade of a multi-blade razor head to reciprocate within a zone of motion. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.

SHAVER
A shaver is proposed. The shaver may include a handle for gripping by a user, a power generation unit, attached to the handle, for generating rotational power, and a power transmission unit which rotates by means of the rotational power. The shaver may also include a cartridge comprising a blade housing in which one or more blades are seated, and a power reception unit, on one surface of the cartridge so as to allow contact with the power transmission unit, for moving the blade housing linearly in accordance with the rotation of the power transmission unit. The cartridge may be coupled to the handle so as to allow pivoting around the pivot axis which is perpendicular to the rotational axis of the rotational power generated by the power generation unit, and the pivot axis may be established so as to penetrate the power transmission unit.
Razor comprising a hair-severing member having a plurality of sawing teeth
Razor having a hair-severing member having a plurality of sawing teeth arranged along a hair-severing edge of the hair-severing member. Each sawing tooth has a tooth tip and tooth edges mutually connected via the tooth tip. The hair-severing member is mounted for sawing through hairs present on the skin by means of the sawing teeth by moving each sawing tooth in a local direction of extension of the hair-severing edge at the position of the respective sawing tooth. A drive is coupled to the hair-severing member for driving the hair-severing member such that the sawing teeth move with an average velocity larger than or equal to 10 m/s. The spacing between the tooth tips of two successive sawing teeth is between 20 m and 150 m.
