Shaving Device
A shaving device comprising a head assembly including a support member having at least one support member magnet and a blade cartridge having at least one face with at least one razor blade and configured to be rotatably coupled to the support member about a pivot axis. The blade cartridge includes at least one blade cartridge magnet having a pole aligned with a pole of the support member magnet to generate a magnetic force that urges the blade cartridge about the pivot axis towards an initial starting position (ISP), wherein the blade cartridge is further configured to rotate about the pivot axis away from the ISP upon application of an external force sufficient to overcome the magnetic force between the support member magnet and the blade cartridge magnet.

RAZOR CARTRIDGE STRUCTURE
A cartridge for a razor is provided. The cartridge may comprise a housing comprising first and second opposed end portions spaced apart in a lateral direction of the cartridge, which lateral direction is parallel to one or more blades provided in the housing; front and back portions spaced apart in a longitudinal direction of the cartridge; and a structure defining at least one of the front portion or the back portion. The structure may comprise a plurality of first protrusions extending from a base of the structure. The structure may further comprise a plurality of second protrusions extending from the base of the structure. One or more of the first protrusions may be positioned between at least one set of adjacent ones of the second protrusions.
Razor
This non-provisional utility patent application contains several innovations to a razor used for shaving the face or any part of the body, as well as other hygiene products.
Razor cartridge with non-cutting element
A novel razor cartridge includes at least one non-cutting element disposed anywhere within a blade array between a guard and a cap and/or in a blade position of a frame providing skin/hair management. This non-cutting element allows the fine-tuning of parameters such as blade-skin contact, hair orientation, blade spans and rinse-through gaps in manners that improve shaving comfort, closeness, efficiency, and/or rinse-ability. The non-cutting element may include projections, fin-like elements, comb-like features having teeth, exfoliation or lubricating capabilities. By having a fixed non-cutting element disposed midway in a blade array, a multi-stage cartridge is provided with a middle control point with potentially different functionality before and after the non-cutting element. The non-cutting element is not attached to another blade in the blade array though it may be manufactured as a modified blade support, attached to a blade support, or as part of the frame or the clips.
Shaving blade cartridge, a shaver comprising such shaving blade cartridge and a method of manufacturing such a shaving blade cartridge
A shaving blade cartridge includes a housing extending along a longitudinal axis having a top side, a bottom side opposite to the top side, and first and second longitudinal sides each extending longitudinally along the longitudinal axis between the top and bottom sides. A primary cutting blade is mounted on the housing between the first and second longitudinal sides, and has a cutting edge. A primary cap is located rearward of the cutting edge. A primary guard is located forward of the cutting edge. A trimming element, mounted on the housing, has a trimming edge. The trimming edge and the cutting edge are opposite one another. The primary cap is provided on a rear element, and the rear element is fitted on the housing. The trimming element is sandwiched between the housing and the primary cap.
SHAVER'S HANDLE WITH A LOCK AND RELEASE MECHANISM FOR ENGAGING AND DISENGAGING A RAZOR CARTRIDGE
A handle for a shaving razor adapted to releasably support a razor cartridge is provided. The handle includes a handle body and an actuation button. The handle body includes an arm assembly having a pair of arms extending in a plane and being adapted to engage the razor cartridge. The actuation button is configured to move substantially perpendicular to the plane of the pair of arms. The actuation button cooperates with the pair of arms to engage and disengage the razor cartridge.
DISPENSER FOR RAZOR CARTRIDGE
A retaining element for a razor cartridge has a top portion that includes an aperture therethrough, a bottom portion, and a side portion connecting the top portion to the bottom portion to define a volume between the top portion and the bottom portion, a container having a top opening, a lubricating composition in the container and a first spherical lid to cap the container. The top opening is sized to hold the first spherical lid so that the first spherical lid freely rotates without translation. The container is positioned in the volume so that the first spherical lid at least partially protrudes from the aperture. The lubricating element emits onto an outer surface of the first spherical lid when the first spherical lid rotates.
