RAZOR BLADE
A shaving blade is disclosed herein. An embodiment of the present disclosure provides a shaving blade including: a substrate including a cutting edge at which a sharp substrate tip is formed, wherein the substrate has a thickness T10 measured at a distance D10 that is 10 micrometers away from the substrate tip, the thickness T10 having a value between 3.18 micrometers and 3.66 micrometers, and a thickness T100 measured at a distance D100 that is 100 micrometers away from the substrate tip, the thickness T100 having a value between 14.82 micrometers and 18.85 micrometers.
Easy-Rinsing Razor Cartridge
Described is a razor with a removable cartridge. The cartridge may attach to a handle magnetically or via another fastening technique, and may include a rigid mechanical structure that may not obstruct any water flowing through the cartridge when rinsing it. This may improve rinsing away clogs around the blades, hair, lotions, or other items, which may reduce the effectiveness of the razor and potentially lead to issues such as razor burns or razor rash.
Razor exposure
Disclosed here are shaving razor systems and methods including razor cartridges with a unitary frame having a length and width, a topside and an underside, wherein the unitary frame includes angled joints or bends connecting at least three guards running lengthwise on the unitary frame, the guards separated by at least three gaps in the frame, and at least three blades, affixed to the underside of the guards of the unitary frame, wherein the at least three blades include edges, and wherein the blade edges extend into the gaps in the frame when affixed to the underside of the guards of the unitary frame.
Method of assembling a razor cartridge
A subassembly for a shaving razor cartridge with a base having a front wall with a top surface and a rear wall with a top surface. At least one blade is mounted to the base between the front wall and the rear wall. The at least one blade has a cutting edge positioned at least 0.5 mm above a plane tangent to the top surface of the front wall and the top surface of the rear wall.
RAZOR CARTRIDGE
A subassembly for a shaving razor cartridge with a base having a front wall with a top surface and a rear wall with a top surface. At least one blade is mounted to the base between the front wall and the rear wall. The at least one blade has a cutting edge positioned at least 0.5 mm below a plane tangent to the top surface of the front wall and the top surface of the rear wall.
RAZOR CARTRIDGE
Disclosed is a razor cartridge according to an embodiment of the disclosure, which includes a blade formed with a cutting edge; a blade housing longitudinally accommodating the blade, and including a top to which the cutting edge is at least partially exposed and a bottom opposite to the top; and a guard member including a skin contact portion at least partially exposed to the top, and longitudinally accommodated in the blade housing so that the skin contact portion can move up and down relative to the blade housing.
WET SHAVING CARTRIDGE
In a first aspect of the subject invention, a wet shaving cartridge is provided herein having bent razor blades each having a constant cross-sectional thickness in the range of 0.005 inches to 0.010 inches, which is thicker than found in the prior art. This provides for a bent blade wet shaving cartridge with razor blades of good rigidity but without the waste, or need for welding, as found with planar razor blades.
SHAVING RAZOR CARTRIDGE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
A shaving razor cartridge with a housing molded from a first polymeric material and having a top surface and an opposing bottom surface. The housing has a wall partially defining an opening extending from the top surface to the bottom surface. The wall has a pair of arms each with a distal end extending toward each other defining a gap. A guard is toward a front of the housing. A cap is toward a rear of the housing. At least one blade is mounted between the guard and the cap. A bridge interconnects the distal ends. The bridge is molded from a second polymeric material that is different than the first polymeric material.
NON-METALLIC RAZOR BLADES AND RAZOR ASSEMBLIES THEREFOR
Non-metallic razor blades, such as those made with ceramic or glass, and more particularly to one or more unique features of such blades that improve the durability and useable life of the blade. The non-metallic blade may have a single-bevel design with a unique geometry. The blade may be made with a chemically strengthened glass. The blade may be made with single-crystal alpha-alumina in which the razor edge is oriented perpendicular to the c-axis. A razor assembly also is provided such as for use with non-metallic blades. The mounting head of the assembly is configured to restrict rotation of the blade about a pivot axis that is parallel to the blade edge. The mounting head also is configured to enable the blade to move axially in a direction perpendicular to the blade edge. The mounting head may orient the blades to enable passage of shaved hair.
Shaving cartridge with enhanced rinsability
The present invention relates to razor cartridge with a multifunctional seat that is attachable to a handle, plurality of blades without the spacers and a multifunctional cap obviating the use of spacers in between blades. The multifunctional seat provided with protrusions/selective seat and multifunctional cap with corresponding provisions to hold respective blade on the seat enables to dispose plurality of blades parallelly with respect to each other without the use of spacers and yet holding the blades rigidly in their predisposed positions during shaving and providing flushing channels for cleaning of the shaving debris during rinsing of the cartridge after shaving.
