Razor blade with bent portion and razor cartridge using the same
An integral razor blade which is thin and has improved strength by shaping a geometrical structure of the razor blade and a razor cartridge using the same. The razor blade includes a base portion, a bent portion extending in a bent manner from one end of the base portion, and an edge portion extending from one end of the bent portion, a cutting edge being formed at one end of the edge portion. A first separation distance X between a straight line extending in a longitudinal direction from a front surface of the base portion and an end point of the cutting edge ranges from 0.3 mm to 1.0 mm.
SHAVING HEAD WITH INCREASED INTER BLADE SPAN
A razor cartridge comprises a first blade support and a second blade support. Each of the first and second blade supports include a flat portion having an inner surface which faces away from a shaving surface S. A first blade is attached to the inner surface of the flat portion of the first blade support, the first blade includes a first cutting edge. A second blade attached to the inner surface of the flat portion of the second blade support, the second blade includes a second cutting edge. A distance between the first and second cutting edges is within a range of 1.6 mm to 2.2 mm.
SINGLE-BLADE RAZOR APPARATUS
A single-blade razor apparatus and methods for manufacturing the same. A razor apparatus may include a handle and a head pivotably mounted on the handle. The head may include a rear side including an aperture for receiving a single blade, as well as a front side through which a cutting edge of the blade is exposed during use. An upper portion and a lower portion of the head may form the aperture. The lower portion may physically interface with the upper portion so that a front region of the upper portion is physically supported by the lower portion. In a particular implementation, the lower portion may include several protruding latches proximate the front side of the head, which may respectively mate with recesses formed in the upper portion. Alternatively, the latches may be formed in the upper portion and may respectively mate with recesses formed in the lower portion.
RAZOR CARTRIDGE
A razor cartridge is proposed. The razor cartridge may include at least one shaving blade comprising an edge portion with a cutting edge, and a base portion, and a blade housing configured to accommodate the at least one shaving blade. The razor cartridge may also include an elastic unit configured to support an end portion of the base portion of the at least one shaving blade and apply a restoring force upwards. The razor cartridge can uniformly transmit a restoring force to a plurality of blades supported by the elastic unit. Further, the vertical position of the shaving blade may be adjustable, thereby reducing a skin irritation during shaving.
Shaving razor cartridge
A shaving razor cartridge includes a housing and at least one razor blade. The housing extends between front and rear ends. The housing includes a blade support portion and a handle interface portion. The blade support portion is positioned between the front and rear ends. The blade support portion includes a cap and a guard that is spaced from the cap and cooperates with the cap to define a shaving plane. The handle interface portion is positioned between the front and rear ends and includes a front and rear wall. The front and rear walls each include a lower surface and an interior surface. The at least one razor blade is disposed in the blade support portion between the cap and the guard. The lower surfaces cooperate to define a lower opening. The interior surfaces cooperate to at least partially define a handle receptacle that extends to the lower opening.
RAZOR CARTRIDGE
A razor cartridge is provided comprising: a housing and a blade assembly mounted to the housing. The blade assembly may comprise at least one razor blade defined by a substrate comprising a first portion and a second portion. The first portion may comprise first and second outer surfaces. The second portion may comprise first and second sections separated by a split line. The first section may comprise a first facet and an end facet. The second section may comprise an end facet. The end facets of the first and second sections may converge at a tip to define a cutting edge. A shoulder may be positioned between the first facet and the end facet of the first section and define a skin-contacting surface.
Disclosed here are shaving razor systems and methods including razor cartridges with a unitary frame having a length and width, a topside and an underside, wherein the unitary frame includes angled joints or bends connecting at least three guards running lengthwise on the unitary frame, the guards separated by at least three gaps in the frame, and at least three blades, affixed to the underside of the guards of the unitary frame, wherein the at least three blades include edges, and wherein the blade edges extend into the gaps in the frame when affixed to the underside of the guards of the unitary frame.
Shaving razor cartridge
A shaving cartridge with a housing, having a primary guard at a front of the housing and a secondary cap at a rear of the housing. A bridge member having a primary cap surface and a secondary guard surface is positioned between the primary guard and the secondary cap. The bridge member has a plurality of spaced apart ribs extending transverse to the cutting edge of the first blade and defining a plurality of openings. A first blade has a cutting edge. The first blade is mounted to the housing between the primary guard and the primary cap surface. A second blade having a cutting edge extending in the same direction as the cutting edge of the first blade is mounted to the housing between the secondary guard surface and the secondary cap. A width of the bridge member is about 2.5 mm to about 4 mm.
