SHAVING RAZORS AND SHAVING CARTRIDGES
The retainer is operable to secure at least one blade within a housing of a shaving blade cartridge. The retainer extends along a pair of side edges of the housing, between a front edge of the housing and a rear edge of the housing. The retainer includes an upper end portion and either a lower end portion extending substantially parallel to the upper end portion and connected to the upper end portion by an intermediate portion, or one or a plurality of legs extending from an edge of the upper end portion.
SHAVING HEAD AND SHAVER
The present disclosure provides a shaving head, including a blade and a blade holder. The holder includes a base for connecting the shaver handle, and a cover contacting the human skin during shaving, the base and the cover is detachably connected and the blade is fixed to the base. The present disclosure also provides a shaver. The present disclosure can replace only the cover.
Shaving razors and shaving cartridges
A plurality of retainers operable to secure a plurality of blades within a housing of a shaving blade unit. The plurality of retainers extending along a pair of side edges of the housing, between a front edge of the housing and a rear edge of the housing.
Razor head with improved spring fingers
A shaving blade cartridge may include a housing and at least one cutting blade mounted in a blade receiving section of the housing between first and second lateral sides of the housing, wherein one or more cutting blades is movably supported by fingers such that the at least one cutting blade can move from a first position to at least one second position, wherein one or more fingers are designed such that the at least one cutting blade is supported by at least one first contact point or area of the finger when the at least one cutting blade is in the first position, and in that the at least one cutting blade is supported by at least one second contact point or area of the finger when the at least one cutting blade is in the second position.
RAZOR CARTRIDGES
Replaceable shaving assemblies are disclosed that include a razor cartridge comprising: an elongated housing defining a central open area, and, adjacent each short edge of the housing, a clip-receiving aperture and a clip-receiving channel; a plurality of blades disposed within the open area of the housing, and a pair of clips, each clip having a first leg and a second leg, the first leg extending through the clip-receiving aperture and being bent against a lower surface of the housing, and the second leg being wrapped around the housing and seated in the clip-receiving channel. Shaving systems including such shaving assemblies are also disclosed, as are methods of using such shaving systems and methods of manufacturing these cartridges.
SHAVING HANDLE SYSTEM FOR HOLDING A CARTRIDGE PIVOTABLE ABOUT TWO AXES
A shaving handle system for holding a cartridge including a handle extending longitudinally along a longitudinal handle direction (L) between a distal end and a proximal end, and a connector adapted to rotate around a rocking axis (Z) with respect to the handle. The connector includes two lateral tongues extending forwardly from the proximal end of the handle, and the handle includes a deflecting means for flexing either one of the lateral tongues. The lateral tongues abut the deflecting means, such that when the connector is rotated in a first direction around the rocking axis (Z) with respect to the handle, one of the two lateral tongues is flexed by the deflecting means, and such that when the connector is rotated in a second direction around the rocking axis (Z) with respect to the handle, the other of the two lateral tongues is flexed by the deflecting means.
RAZOR MECHANISMS
The present invention describes a novel spring mechanism for a razor. In the razor, the spring member may be disposed in a movable member assembly, portions of which may be used for ejection or pivoting. The spring may be fully encompassed within the assembly and be placed within supporting structures therein. The spring is a loop-shaped element having overlapping end portions with free distal ends. Alternately, the spring member is tear drop shaped loop shape with distal ends that are spaced apart. The spring may be disposed within a first and/or second movable member such as an eject button or a pivot member. A retarding structure on the spring provides a retarding force which is based on the interaction of the retarding structure with a protrusion on an assembly portion to keep the spring orientation intact. The spring is desirably comprised of stainless steel and is a flat wire.
Hairdressing razor, razor and razor head
A hairdressing razor for cutting hair having an elongated handle and a cutting head joined to the handle, wherein at least one blade holder for at least one blade is provided in the cutting head. In order to achieve an improved cutting result and a longer blade service life, the invention provides for the longitudinal axis of the blade to be arranged at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the cutting head. A single recess is provided on at least one longitudinal side of the cutting head into which recess a free cutting region of projects without extending beyond the longitudinal edge of the longitudinal side when a blade is located in the blade holder, and wherein a length of the recess is smaller than half the length of the longitudinal side and wherein a length of the free cutting region in the recess is smaller than 15 mm.
Method of manufacturing a razor head component
A method of manufacturing a razor head component that includes the steps of providing a strip of material elongated along a first direction (X), the strip having first and second rounded extremities parallel with the first direction (X). The strip includes a first portion having a first extremity, a second portion having a second extremity, and an intermediate portion intermediate the first and second portions, bending the intermediate portion of at least a part of the strip about a bending axis, and fixing a razor blade onto the second portion of the part.
RAZOR HANDLE WITH MOVABLE MEMBERS
A handle for a shaving razor in which the handle comprises a frame and a movable member assembly operably coupled to the frame such that the frame is disposed between the movable member assembly and where the movable member assembly upper and lower portions are configured to move both above and below the frame. The movement can be linear or rotational. The movable member assembly comprises one or more springs.
