Replaceable shaving assemblies are disclosed that include a razor cartridge having a lubricating strip geometry that is designed to work with the blade geometry and other cartridge features to provide a close, comfortable shave over the intended lifetime of the cartridge. Shaving systems including such shaving assemblies are also disclosed, as are methods of using such shaving systems and methods of manufacturing these cartridges.

One embodiment of a dual sided razor comprises a handle and a cartridge attached to the handle, the cartridge further comprising a first shaving side and a second shaving side, the cartridge being switchable relative to the handle between the first and second shaving sides.

Disclosed here are shaving razor systems and methods including razor cartridges with a unitary frame having a length and width, a topside and an underside, wherein the unitary frame includes angled joints or bends connecting at least three guards running lengthwise on the unitary frame, the guards separated by at least three gaps in the frame, and at least three blades, affixed to the underside of the guards of the unitary frame, wherein the at least three blades include edges, and wherein the blade edges extend into the gaps in the frame when affixed to the underside of the guards of the unitary frame.

A razor cartridge comprising three or more substantially parallel cutting members disposed between a leading longitudinal side and a trailing longitudinal side of the razor cartridge in a shaving direction of the razor cartridge. Each of the cutting members comprises a blade support comprising a blade mounting portion disposed on an inner surface of the respective blade support that, in use, faces away from a shaving plane, and a blade attached to the blade mounting portion. The cutting members are disposed to define a plurality of inter-blade spans between cutting edges of the blades. A leading inter-blade span that is closer to the leading longitudinal side of the razor cartridge than a trailing inter-blade span is different to the trailing inter-blade span that is closer to the trailing longitudinal side of the razor cartridge than the leading inter-blade span.

A shaving aid including a lubricant and a benefit agent. The benefit agent is azoxystrobin. Also provided is hair removal device with a shaving aid and the shaving aid includes azoxystrobin. The shaving aid may be on-board the hair removal device or provided separately. The shaving aid may be a solid or a liquid.

A shaving device comprising a head assembly having a support member and a blade cartridge. The support member is configured to be detachably coupled to a handle. The blade cartridge has a first and a second face wherein at least one of the first or second faces comprises at least one razor blade. The blade cartridge is configured to be rotatably coupled to the support member about a pivot axis such that the blade cartridge is pivotable by a user to select one of the first or second faces.

The present disclosure relates to a razor having a coupling structure of a razor blade cartridge and a handle, including a razor blade cartridge including at least one razor blade, a blade housing in which the at least one razor blade is accommodated, a cartridge frame coupled to the blade housing and configured to secure the at least one razor blade to the blade housing; and a handle coupled to a rear of the razor blade cartridge, wherein a first hook is formed at a rear of the blade housing; a second hook is formed at a rear of the cartridge frame; and the handle is configured to be engaged with the first hook and the second hook such that the handle is coupled to the rear of the razor blade cartridge.

A shaving razor. A first and second blade assembly each have a cutting edge oriented to shave in the same direction. The first and second blade assemblies are each displaceable along a respective first and second path substantially parallel to their cutting edge. First and second linkages couple together a first ends and second ends respectively of the first and second blade assembly. The linkages are configured such that a displacement of the first blade assembly in a first direction along the first path causes a displacement of the second blade assembly in an opposite direction along the second path. A razor cartridge comprises a housing, at least one first cutting member and at least one second cutting member. The at least one first cutting member and the at least one second cutting member are arranged in the housing. The at least one first cutting member is configured to shave in a first direction, and the at least one second cutting member is configured to shave in a second direction opposite to the first direction. A longitudinal support bar is arranged between the at least one first cutting member and the at least one second cutting member. The at least one first cutting member comprises a blade support including a top portion having an inner surface that, in use, faces away from a shaving plane and a blade attached to the inner surface of the top portion, wherein the blade includes a cutting edge.

A shaving aid including a lubricant and an antioxidant in accordance with general formula (I). Also provided is shaving aid including a lubricant and an antioxidant in accordance with general formula (I), in which the lubricant includes a water soluble polymer with an initial molecular weight of at least 1,000,000 g/mol. The water soluble polymer exhibits a molecular weight loss of less than 500,000 g/mol within a predefined time period.
