Handle assembly and cartridge, and razor including same
A razor includes a handle assembly comprises, a grip part for gripping by a user, and a connecting part comprising a first plunger guard formed to protrude from a front end of the grip part, a second plunger guard formed to protrude from the front end of the grip part such that the same is spaced apart from the first plunger guard, and a plunger slidably coupled between the first plunger guard and the second plunger guard, and a cartridge includes at least one blade, a frame which supports the at least one blade such that the at least one blade is exposed on a front side, a connector arranged to be rotatable relative to the frame and having a receiving hole formed therein, which receives the first plunger guard, the second plunger guard, and the plunger.
Razor handle with movable members
A handle for a shaving razor in which the handle comprises a frame and a movable member assembly operably coupled to the frame such that the frame is disposed between the movable member assembly and where the movable member assembly upper and lower portions are configured to move both above and below the frame. The movement can be linear or rotational. The movable member assembly comprises one or more springs.
Razor Handle
A razor handle has a head portion including a first end including a mechanism to permit a user to selectively connect a razor cartridge to the handle, and a second end defining a recess. A sleeve is secured in the recess. A grip portion has a proximal end secured in the sleeve. The grip portion consists essentially of glass.
PRESS AND METHODS FOR CUTTING AND FOLDING A SAFETY RAZOR TO FORM A 2-BLADE SYSTEM FOR A RAZOR HEAD, AND ASSEMBLY
A shaving head that doubles as breaking mechanism to break a safety razor blade into two pieces to form a 2-blade shaving razor. The shaving head includes a front component having a retention guide, a first position stop and a second position stop at a distance offset from the first position stop. The shaving head further includes a back component having a blade slot configured to receive a first blade portion and a second blade portion formed from breaking a double-edge safety razor blade such that the first blade portion has a different width compared to the second blade portion. The retention guide is configured to retain the first blade portion and the second blade portion in the blade slot responsive to the retention guide being at least partially inserted into the blade slot. The sharp shaving edges once installed form a shaving angle between 5 and 30 degrees, where the shaving angle is determined by where the blade is broken.
MAGNETIC ATTACHMENT FOR SHAVING CARTRIDGE
Shaving systems are disclosed that include a replaceable shaving assembly and a cartridge connecting structure for connecting the shaving assembly to a handle. In preferred implementations, the cartridge connecting structure has a magnetic portion configured to help draw the cartridge onto the handle and retain the cartridge in place when the razor is not in contact with the skin, and a mechanical engagement that provides the necessary retention forces required to keep the system intact during shaving.
PRECISION RAZOR WITH ANGLED WASH THROUGH CHANNEL
A shaving razor with an angled wash through channel. A razor blade is sandwiched between a base member and a blade cover. The based member is unitarily molded to include an integral blade guard that resides ahead of a cutting edge of the razor blade in a cutting direction, the base member also defines a wash through channel opening at an angle in the range of 30-70 degrees.
Shaving razor handle
A shaving razor handle includes, a main body, a pair of arms extending from the main body, and a pivoting head. The pivoting head includes a base member and a biasing member. The base member is pivotally coupled with the pair of arms to facilitate pivoting of the pivoting head about a pivot axis between a home position and a fully pivoted position. The base member includes a front wall and a rear wall. The front wall includes a front exterior surface. The rear wall includes a rear exterior surface. The biasing member is operably coupled with the main body and is configured to bias the pivoting head into the home position.
SYSTEM FOR MEASURING PIVOT ANGLE OF SHAVER HEAD AND RELATED METHODS
A shaving system, comprising a shaver including a handle a cartridge having at least one blade, the cartridge pivotably connected to the handle about a transverse axis of the handle; and a biasing element connected to the handle and connected to the cartridge, the biasing element being configured to move along a longitudinal axis of the handle in response to the cartridge pivoting about; a sensor configured to determine a pivot angle of the shaver cartridge relative to the handle; and a processor configured to receive information about the movement of the biasing element and determine an angle between the cartridge and the handle about the transverse axis based on the information.
SHAVING DEVICE
Described herein are improved shaving devices. Some embodiments of the improved shaving devices include finger portions with apertures for a user to place fingers therethrough, and shaver holding portions which can hold devices such as razors. In some embodiments, two shaving device bodies can be connected to one another to form a larger shaving device.
Razor handle with movable members and a benefit delivery system
A handle for a shaving razor in which the handle comprises a frame and a movable member assembly operably coupled to the frame such that the frame is disposed between the movable member assembly and where the movable member assembly portions are configured to move both above and below the frame. The movement can be linear or rotational. The movable member assembly comprises one or more springs. A razor handle includes a rigid member, a first member having one or more movable elements wherein a portion of the first member is connected to a first surface of the rigid member, a second member, the second member coupled to a second surface of the rigid member wherein a benefit delivery assembly is disposed in an area between the rigid member and the second member.
