A safety razor removes hair from skin using the cutting blade comprising a sharp edge along an elongated side of a planar surface. An outer comb has a row of outer teeth running along the planar surface on an outside of the cutting blade, each outer tooth is substantially perpendicular to the sharp edge and spaced with a gap between the row of the outer teeth and the planar surface of the cutting blade. Ends of the row of outer teeth comprise outer teeth tips. An inner guard runs along the planar surface on an inside of the cutting blade.

RETRACTABLE RAZOR

A retractable razor. The retractable razor includes a leaf spring assembly, a rail, and a shaving razor cartridge. The leaf spring assembly has a first leaf spring and a second leaf spring mounted to a housing. The rail is slidably mounted to the housing and has a tab. The shaving razor cartridge is rotationally mounted to the rail. The shaving razor cartridge is configured to move relative to the housing between a retracted position and an open position. The tab is positioned at a first end of the leaf spring assembly in the retracted position and at a second end of the leaf spring assembly in the open position.

Shaving Device

A shaving device comprising a head assembly having a support member and a blade cartridge. The support member is configured to be detachably coupled to a handle. The blade cartridge has a first and a second face wherein at least one of the first or second faces comprises at least one razor blade. The blade cartridge is configured to be rotatably coupled to the support member about a pivot axis such that the blade cartridge is pivotable by a user to select one of the first or second faces.

The blade cartridge includes at least one blade cartridge magnet having a pole aligned with a pole of the support member magnet to generate a magnetic force that urges the blade cartridge about the pivot axis towards an initial starting position (ISP), wherein the blade cartridge is further configured to rotate about the pivot axis away from the ISP upon application of an external force sufficient to overcome the magnetic force between the support member magnet and the blade cartridge magnet.

The present application discloses a manual razor with self-cleaning capabilities having a handle. The hand having a blade housing at its free end. The blade housing having a razor blade held that firmly, but removable held within the blade housing. The blade housing may further contain a spring element that is integrated into the blade housing. The spring element may be adjacent to said blade, with the first end of the spring element connected to the blade housing and the second end of the spring element connected to the cleaning element. The cleaning element is snugly coupled with the cutting area of the blade, preferably encircling both sides of the cutting area, as well as the edge of the blade. The cleaning element is configured to be displaced or to slide forward and back along the length of the blade in an attempt to clear hair bristles and other shaving debris from the surface of the cutting area.
