Shaving Device
The invention is a shaving device that shaves behind the neck and other hard to reach areas of the body. The invention is a device that is comprised of at least one blade mounting assembly that are attached to each other with living hinges along a longitudinal axis, with two handles situated at either end of the set of assemblies along the same axis. When used, a user mounts an individually removable blade cartridge on each mounting assembly.
HEAD SHAVING DEVICE
A hand-held shaving device is disclosed. The device includes a blade carrier top and base that cooperate to secure a double-edge razor blade in place. These mount onto a shaver base that is designed to be held in the hand of a user. When assembled, the device provides rests that contact the body surface to be shaved and when in contact with the body surface set the razor blade at an optimal shaving angle. The process of shaving comprises contacting the body surface to be shaved and moving the device in the direction of the razor blade edge. The device is designed so that it can be used in either hand.
Razor Base, Razor and Corresponding Use
The present invention relates to a razor base (2) comprising a head portion (4), wherein the head portion (4) comprises a forward surface (42) and a rear surface (44) opposite to the forward surface (42); and at least one rear extension (6, 60) extending away from the rear surface (44); wherein the rear surface (44) and the at least one rear extension (6, 60) together define finger end receiving sections (8) each configured to receive a finger end section (102) of a user. The present invention also relates to a corresponding razor and to a corresponding use.
SAFETY RAZOR
A safety razor handle comprising: a handle body (50) and a cartridge attachment means (59); wherein the handle body is bulbous in two orthogonal directions, widening away from an end surface (52) towards the centre of the body.
SAFETY RAZOR HANDLE
A safety razor handle comprising: an underneath surface portion facing the skin of the user in use and comprising an attachment means for attachment to a blade unit; a front surface portion facing in the opposite direction from the shaving direction in use; a rear surface portion facing in the shaving direction in use; a top surface portion and side surface portions, one directed to either side of the blade length in use; wherein the top surface portion, underneath surface portion and side surface portions together form a continuous smooth surface (which is a substantially cylindrical or substantially ellipsoid or substantially partially spherical surface; and wherein: the distance between the front surface portion and rear surface portion is between one third and three times, preferably between a half and twice, the largest dimension of the largest cross section through the continuous smooth surface.
Cranial shaving device
A preflex, arcuately shaped blade head is formed of a cartridge having a cutting edge supported on a curved, flexible blade support. The blade head is oversized, being greater than 2 in lateral linear length. An outrigger blade stabilizer extends posteriorly cantilevered from the blade support. A palm gripping handle forms a bulbous, palm accommodating shaped gripping member having a plan outline shaped generally of kite shape or an elongated Reuleax triangle, with a heel element forming a volar outer ridge at a distal end. An upper arcuate surface forms an oblique arch about the lateral plane of the handle. A longitudinal arch is further formed about the linear plane of the handle. A lower curved surface forms a finger receiving notch at a proximal end of the handle. Such features significantly extend the range of use of the shaver and is specifically adapted for shaving a user's scalp.
SAFETY RAZOR
A safety razor (100) comprising; a handle body (50) with a substantially flat end surface (52) and a side surface (58); and a cartridge (10) attached to the side surface, wherein: when the flat end surface (52) is in contact with a horizontal plane, the safety razor is in a stable position of rest, the flat end surface forming the safety razor's only region of contact with the plane and elevating the cartridge (10) above the plane.
FINGER RAZOR
A fingertip shaver has a generally cylindrical shape and requires no extension or moving parts. The blade or multiple blades of the shaver are provided in a cartridge mounted within in an opening or recess formed in a flattened or truncated portion of the cylinder.
Personal razor for shaving
The present invention relates to a personal razor and methods of use for shaving hair. The personal razor includes a substantially V-shape body. The exterior surface has a razor cartridge interface on which a razor cartridge is attached. Retaining clips are affixed along the exterior surface securing the razor cartridge in place and orientating a razor-cutting surface to be in contact with the skin of a user during use of the personal razor. An interior surface forms two opposing entry surfaces. Ridges are disposed along each of the opposing entry surfaces that grip the finger of the user on insertion into the personal razor. The grip of the ridges on the finger of the user enables the user to better control the motion, the angle of the razor cutting surface, and the downward pressure on the skin of the user during use of the personal razor.
Shaving apparatus
A shaving apparatus having a body including a central lumen and one or more rolling elements are rotatingly attached to the bottom surface of the shaving apparatus. The apparatus includes a shaving head assembly rotatably attachable within the central lumen. The shaving head assembly includes one or more shaving blades and a blade cartridge attachment arm for attachment of the blade cartridge to a mounting shaft having a bearing surface. The shaving head assembly, or a subunit thereof, rotates about an axis of rotation defined by the major axis of the mounting shaft. One or more engagement elements removably retain the shaving head assembly within the central lumen, and a mechanical release mechanism which includes an actuator, is provided to remove the shaving head assembly.
