Robotic gantry bridge for farming
A robotic gantry (10) for conducting farming operations. The robotic gantry has a bridge (12) which is moved by propulsion mechanisms (14), one or more farming implements (16), a controller (38), and one or more devices (28, 30) to provide position information for the robotic gantry as it moves back and forth along a plurality of crop rows (40). The robotic gantry is connected to a power supply system (20) and, optionally, to a liquid supply system (22), which may be implemented as festoon systems. The controller is automated, self-navigating, and activates, deactivates, and/or changes the operation of the propulsion mechanisms, and deploys, retracts, activates, deactivates, and/or changes the operation of one or more of the farming implements. The height of the frame may be adjusted by height adjustment frames (18) to accommodate crops of different heights and at different times during a growing season.
Modular autonomous farm vehicle
A modular autonomous agricultural vehicle includes a drive module having a frame, a ground-engaging element rotatably coupled to the frame, a power source, and a drive motor receiving power from the power source and coupled to the ground-engaging element for rotating the ground engaging element. At least one toolbar module is detachably coupled to the frame for coupling the drive module to an agricultural implement or another modular toolbar segment. The modular toolbar preferably includes multiple toolbar modules coupled to each other in series to form the modular toolbar.
Width adjustable harvesting apparatus and machine
A harvesting apparatus and machine is provided for permitting a pair of pickers to pick ground growing fruit from a comfortable and moving position. The harvesting machine includes a frame separated into a first frame half, and a second frame half horizontally adjustable relative to the first frame half. A first seat is positioned on the first frame half and a second seat is positioned on the second frame half, the distance between the first and second seats being adjustable by adjusting the position of the first frame half relative to the second frame half. A propulsion system, including a plurality of wheels, is provided to move the harvesting machine down a row of ground-growing fruit. A steering system is provided to control the direction of movement of the harvesting machine.
AUTONOMOUS AGRICULTURAL VEHICLE COMPRISING A HYDROGEN-POWERED MAIN PROPULSION SYSTEM
The present invention relates to an autonomous agricultural vehicle (1) comprising a framework (2) and wheels (3), the framework (2) having a width, two flanks, one on each side of a longitudinal axis (X) of the autonomous agricultural vehicle (1), and a top, at least one tool being able to be housed in a working volume (20) defined by the width and the top of the framework (2), the autonomous agricultural vehicle (1) moreover comprising a hydrogen-powered propulsion system comprising at least one hydrogen fuel cell (100). The autonomous agricultural vehicle according to the invention moreover comprises at least one hydrogen cylinder (11,12) positioned longitudinally on the top of the framework (2), the hydrogen fuel cell (100) being configured to consume hydrogen from the at least one hydrogen cylinder (11, 12) and oxygen captured from the air so as to supply electrical power to an electric motor of the hydrogen-powered propulsion system.
