The post setting attachment can include a controller that rotates and translates the column to adjust a position of the post. Furthermore, the post setting attachment can include a gravel hopper coupled to the second side of the base that is controlled by the controller to discharge gravel after the controller adjusts the position of the post to secure the post in position.

A method for cultivating a piece of farmland, includes providing an autonomous tractor having a lifting device for connecting an agricultural implement for performing an agricultural operation to the tractor and an engine for driving the implement, and crossing the farmland with the tractor while the agricultural implement is driven by the engine to cultivate the piece of farmland, wherein in a step preceding the cultivation of the farmland, the agricultural implement is put on top of the tractor with the lifting device, such that the centre of mass of the agricultural implement is within the footprint of the tractor, and in a second step the agricultural implement is operatively connected with the engine of the tractor, whereafter the farmland is crossed with the tractor while the agricultural implement is supported by the tractor and driven by the engine thereof to cultivate the piece of farmland.

Each interface has at least one inductively coupled communication receiver and at least one inductively coupled communication transmitter. The transmitters and receivers cooperate to transmit electronic information and commands between the agricultural machine side control system and the attachment side control system. A primary coil is connected to the agricultural machine for transmitting power to the attachment. A secondary coil is connected to the attachment for receiving power from the agricultural machine. The primary coil and the secondary coil cooperate to transmit power from the agricultural machine to the attachment using inductance.
