Accessories for oscillating power tools
An accessory for coupling to an oscillating power tool includes a working end portion and an attachment portion. The working end portion defines and extends along a working axis. The attachment portion is coupled to the working end portion and includes a top wall, a bottom wall spaced apart from the top wall, and a peripheral wall extending from the top wall to the bottom wall at least partially around the top wall to form at least a portion of a polygonal shape. A generally U-shaped opening is defined in the top wall, extends along an attachment axis at an angle to the working axis, has a central portion at a center of the attachment portion, and is open to a gap in the peripheral wall. A plurality of radial openings is defined in the top wall and arranged between the U-shaped opening and the peripheral wall. The peripheral wall, the U-shaped opening, and the plurality of radial openings are configured to couple the attachment portion to at least two different configurations of accessory attachment mechanisms on different oscillating power tools.
Packaging machine and cutter cassette for packaging machine
A cutter cassette for a packaging machine, the cutter cassette includes a blade shaft on which at least one longitudinal cutting blade is arranged. The blade shaft can be transferred in a reversible manner from a transporting position into an operating position by lowering the blade shaft relative to a housing. The lowering of the blade shaft takes place under gravitational force.
Light-weight spacer for a slitting machine
The present invention provides a light-weight spacer for a slitting machine for maintaining the width between slitting knives. The light-weight spacer comprises: a spacer body having a ring structure integrally formed of metal; an inner surface positioned on the inner side of the ring structure and extending along the central axis of the ring structure; an outer surface positioned on the outer side of the ring structure and extending along the central axis of the ring structure; a first side surface extending between the inner surface and the outer surface and being perpendicular thereto; a second side surface opposite to the first side surface and extending between the inner surface and the outer surface; a first plurality of perforations provided on the first side; and a second plurality of perforations provided on the second side.
Slicing device
A slicer having at least one cutting blade, in particular a scythe-like blade, rotating about an axis of rotation and having an imbalance. Also included is a rotary drive for the cutting blade. Further included is a counterweight having at least one balance mass for compensating the imbalance of the cutting blade.
Disc cutting machine having a holder for material to be cut
An electrically powered disc cutting machine for cutting off discs from in particular elongate material to be cut, preferably food, includes: a cutting device having a circular blade that rotates in a cutting plane about an axis of rotation perpendicular to the cutting plane and is driven by a blade motor. The cutting device includes: a carriage for carrying a carriage plate in a carriage plane perpendicular to the cutting plane and to carry at least one carriage wall that protrudes from the carriage plane; and a holder for material to be cut, the holder having a bearing surface for receiving the material to be cut and for bringing the material to be cut closer to the circular blade at an angle <90 relative to the cutting plane. The holder for material to be cut includes a fastening apparatus for fastening the holder for material to be cut.
COMBINATION PRINTER AND CUTTING APPARATUS
A combination printer and cutting device for printing upon and cutting a web of media or tag stock into individual units. The device may cut vinyl, plastic, or RFID stock material as it moves through the printer in both back and forth directions. The device comprises a printer and a cutting apparatus that is further comprised of a carriage assembly and a movable cutter assembly. The cutter assembly is easily interchangeable and comprises a cutting element such as a wheel blade, and a pressure adjusting element for adjusting the amount of pressure applied by the cutting element to the stock material. Alternatively, the cutter assembly may be manufactured with a predetermined pressure load, but still permit an operator to adjust the depth of cut. The cutting apparatus is adaptable for use with both new and existing printers.
Blade mounting and removal tool, system, and product slicer
A blade mounting and removal tool, and system, for safely removing a blade from a blade axle of a food product slicer. The blade axle includes a multi-axis locking system for securing the blade to the blade axle. The blade removal tool includes a tool base, a blade engagement assembly, and a blade unlocking assembly. The blade engagement assembly is attached to the tool base and has a blade engagement actuator cooperating with at least one blade engagement retainer. The blade unlocking assembly is also attached to the tool base and has a blade unlocking actuator cooperating with a blade unlocking post.
RETENTION APPARATUS FOR MATERIAL REMOVAL MACHINES
Retention apparatus and systems for material removal machines are disclosed. In some examples, a material removal machine having a material removal tool (e.g., a saw blade, an abrasive saw, a polisher, a grinder, and/or more general material preparation and/or testing tool) is secured to a spindle using a spring loaded nut. The spring loaded nut of the present disclosure self-tightens when the material removal tool is rotated. Additionally, the spring loaded nut requires a smaller force to attach and/or remove the spring loaded nut, allowing for tool-less and/or low torque attachment and/or removal.
Cutting blade mounting mechanism
A cutting blade mounting mechanism includes: a blade mount mounted to a spindle; and an air supply unit supplying air to the blade mount. The blade mount includes: a columnar boss section inserted into a through-hole provided in an annular base of the cutting blade; a flange section projecting in a radial direction from a side of a base end of the boss section; and an ejector type blade suction section having a first air passage connecting a supply port supplied with air from the air supply unit and a discharge port discharging the air, and a second air passage connecting a suction port opening to a side of a support surface of the flange section and the first air passage. A plurality of the discharge ports are formed in an outer peripheral face of the boss section.
